Not bad shape. Greens are on the slow side, but very consistent.

Has not played here for a couple of years. Love the course layout but a few of the tee boxes need work and some fairways are a little patchy Greens were good

While I like the course, at $50 for a weekday round was a little high - there are other courses of the same standard for less

Staff are very friendly and carts were ok It was nice to have cart delivered to car as you parked !!

Looked like 16 golfers all had the same T time. Got through 14 holes and over 4 hours later I had to go. Very disappointed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The greens rolled fairly true as long as you didn't have bare patches in your path. Fairways were in poor shape with many bare spots and in many situations you couldn't tell where the fairway was vs. the rough. The bunkers, while dramatic and integral to the layout, were not in good shape. You often could tell where the bunker started vs. the fairway as the fairways were quite sandy and in places there were things growing in the bunkers. They bunkers were playable, however. Bare in mind this round was played in mid-February so grass was dormant and they don't appear to overseed. Conditions are likely very different when the grass is not dormant. For the price, it might be worth giving it a chance in the fall.

February is probably a hard time to review a course overall as this isn't the growing season. So please bare that in mind. But all things being equal, here is my assessment:

- The staff were awesome! From check-in to get out and go to appreciativeness for us playing the course following the round, excellent.

- The fairways were tough from a conditions perspective. It was hard to see the change from fairway to rough to hazard (ie. sand traps). Lots of sandy lies in all sorts of places, not just sand traps. But as I said - it is February.

- There is definitely a local crowd that plays here. We were happy to get have one join us on the 2nd hole to sort of give us a lay of the land (thanks, John!) as it is sort of hard to see it in some spots this time of year.

- Greens were fair for this time of year.

- Comments on the layout: The bunkering, especially on the front nine fairway bunkering, is really quite dramatic and worth a visit for the price.

All in all, this was once (a while back) a facility worthy of mention in best public courses in Florida. It's definitely lost that distinction. The layout is still very interesting, and I give a lot of credit to a course for a great layout. I'm glad I played it. Would I go back? There are a lot of options in North Orlando - I probably would not. However - one time when the grass is greener than in February, might be worth a visit for a first timer.
