The Deltona Club holds the distinction of being ranked as one of the top 20 public golf courses in Florida. The club has roots that date back to the late 1950s. It is a remake of one of the state's earliest planned communities. Bobby Weed redesigned the golf course, improving its aesthetic appeal and giving it more playability. The course sprawls across rolling hills that provide dramatic elevation changes throughout. It is a far cry from the many flat public courses that exist throughout Florida. The natural contours of the terrain helped determine the strategic placement of the numerous bunkers, many of which were added during Weed's renovation. The Deltona Club's parkland layout has an interesting mix of holes with some that even have the feel of a links course.

Improvements
The course, staff and amenities are great! Improvements can be made on managing the pace of the course and the times players go out so that they are not on top of each other or having long wait times between holes teeing off. Club can host more public amateur tournaments and events for all golfers in the area or even members of the club.

meh
pace of play slow due to awful players 3 groups ahead of us...no course ranger to fix the situation. greens were decent, tee boxes badly beaten up, little good grass in the fairways. used to like it here...not so much now

Great course for the money
This course has a great layout. It’s in better shape than it has been in a while. Greens roll well with some spotty areas and some crab grass patches. Fairways were solid. Rough not that bad but not that good. For the price you can’t beat it

Great Layout - Needs some TLC
Has not played here for a couple of years. Love the course layout but a few of the tee boxes need work and some fairways are a little patchy Greens were good
While I like the course, at $50 for a weekday round was a little high - there are other courses of the same standard for less
Staff are very friendly and carts were ok It was nice to have cart delivered to car as you parked !!
