Grange Castle
Exceptional value
Course in great condition and always maintained to the highest standard
Greenkeepers must work through the night as you seldom see any machinery in operation during a round
And it's right on your doorstep
Keep up the great work

Good Layout - Excellent Greens
I've played here a few times but not in the last year so it was nice getting back to play. Pace of play on the day wasn't great we got stuck behind a couple of groups playing in a comp so didn't mind it too much 2 of them let us play through which was good.
Course has a nice layout and the par3 11th has had a bit of a revamp and looked great.
Greens are always excellent and course is well maintained.
Its a course that won't disappoint
Top course
Played Grange Castle for the first time but would certainly pkay here again
Nice course, fast greens and beautifull scenery
Pleasantly surprised
Wasn't expecting a huge amount when I arrived at Grange Castle but I was pleasantly surprised - Although the course feels quite open the mixture of holes and the combination of length, water hazards and well protected pins made this a great and exciting challenge - best of all, the greens were absolutely fantastic - they had some sand because of all the wet weather recently but they were a pleasure to putt on - rolling fast and true - excellent condition - highly recommended!
Great value
What a fun course. Wide, inviting fairways and excellent greens. Enough bunkers and hazards to keep you focused but not overly difficult . A thoroughly enjoyable course.
User Friendly
One of the best value and playable golf courses in the Dublin Area.Very well maintained.
Best Public Around
Great course with extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Good Course for Average Standard
Course is beautiful and in a good location. Easy to find and lovely to play. Weather was spectacular which helped. Not the most challenging course but some lovely holes. Could do with better flow in places and some work around the 10th/11th. I'll be back though but at the reduced price.
A Lot of Water
With water appearing on nearly 15 of the holes this is not a course for hooking or slicing your shots.
Great value
Really nice course with some decent challenges and some tricky holes. Par 3s are a bit basic but there is enough variety to keep you interested. Very reasonably priced too.
Good for beginner to moderate
Good course for my level I.e. Give or take 20 handicap ( estimated by my friend as I have never had an official one) some moderately challenging holes on the back nine, with a couple of interesting water obstacles to test the mental side of the game rather than the ability.
Most holes are wide, fairly easy to find the ball as the semi- rough is well kept.
Great value on the ten euro, a little bit steep at 19 euro. 15 would be a fair compromise.
Also, there is a separate proper 7 hole option, which used to be part of the full course, again for a tenner.
The club house is clean, lots of gear, tea and snacks but did not see hot food option.
All in all a good place to improve my golf.
Tee box
Good value for money wouldn't pay more than €10-12 considering other courses available on this site at a similar price, Forrest little, Bray and Old Conna to name a few.Bunkers poor. Greens and fairways and good tee boxes let down with absolutely no signage whatsoever ie hole number, distance and stroke index. I have played here before but a novice coming from the front nine to the tenth tee which is accross a road is confusing.
good course
nice course has very mixed types of holes well worth a round wont be disappointed
Grangecastle Golf
Myself and my son played Grangecastle Monday 12th May. The course was in very good condition considering all the rain we had on the previous 3 days. We found the course challenging, an it was vey well laid out with plenty of signage on route to next tee box, and all holes. We used a buggie which made it a fairly relaxing round with not a lot of walking. Both of us enjoyed our round, and the course very much. We would definitely play this course again
Great value & Overall good public course
For 15 euro, you can't go wrong! Course is in good shape but greens were sandy and weren't the best shape. Overall, really enjoyed the round of golf!
great value and some good holes
the 4th par 4 nice holes lake to right of tee shot, dog legged to left, second shot over water, and 11th 3 par over water nice, and 16th needs a straight tee shot.
I score 96, 2 balls in the water.
