Stunning Course

Over 20yrs since i played here as a junior.

Immacculate condition and challenging as always

Only gripe was behing held up from 7th onwards by 2 groups playing, and drinking very slowly that eventually joined up to a 5 ball! Eventually let us through on 17th tee. Very frustrating but not the clubs fault.

First Time Playing

Wow, gets dark quick now.

Really enjoyed the course, up until I realised I'd lost one of my new clubs somewhere. Then my head went (again) after a par, par, birdie as well. had a few holes like that lol.

Anyhow lovely course and I'd like to say a very big thank you to whoever it was that found my club and handed it in. I've asked for the club to let me know who it was so as I can put a drink behind the bar for you.

As the title states, it got dark very quick, it was the day before we had high winds again the next morning.

The views were great l, met some fishermen who were looking for the river to which we had a giggle and said we don't want to be finding that. 🤣

Course was very well kept considering all the bad weather of late. Hats off to the grounds staff.

Will hopefully go again at some point.

Thanks Llangollen GCC 👍🏻

Great course in top condition

First time at Llangollen and won’t be the last. From the welcome in the pro shop through to the the course everything was top quality. Greens quick and tough to read to start. Fairways lush and running well.

Always a pleasure

This is the second time I have played the course. It is a great location and always welcoming staff. The course was in a good condition - the round was only spoiled by slow members in front who were not aware of golf etiquette ie filling in scorecards on green and chatting before moving on. Didn't spoil the overall experience though.

Great course with friendly welcome

Have played here a few times this year. The setting is stunning with great backdrops of the Welsh hills. Definite improvements in the course recently and it appears a lot of work going on to bring it back to top form. Greens running lovely and true and reward a good putting stroke - 9th hole is on another level from tee to green. Good laugh with the guys in the pro shop and nice hot food with a beer afterwards. Great day out just over the Welsh border. Will be back in the spring.

Great courae, poor condition

The course is set in beautiful countryside with picturest views. Loved the design of the course and there were some fantastic holes. However the greens and fairways are already playing like we were in January or February. The greens particularly were very poor. Definitely a summer course.
