Monmouthshire Golf Club

The course was of reasonable conditions for this time of the year. The beginning three holes were challenging enough. The rest of the way was rather uninteresting. The fairways were generally quite narrow bordered by mature trees. Good views of the Welsh mountains at some of the holes. A good relaxing round.

A well presented course set in a super part of Wales. Staff helpful and welcoming. Course in great condition with some super holes.

Lovely setting, lovely course. Plenty of challenge on long and short holes. Bunkers could do with a bit more sand I felt. Would definitely recommend and will be playing again in the near future.

What a fantastic and stunning course.

First time playing here with a mate and we both loved it. Views were amazing, course conditions were really good, well kept. Greens were challenging but enjoyable.

Staff were friendly and did I mention the views?

I didn't want to leave a review as I want it to remain quiet but credit where credit is due! How this course is more busy I have no idea. If I lived closer I would 100% be a member.

Reapply good course to play. A mix of good atraight holes to elevated Par 3s that can be cheeky. Played on winter tees which aren't the best but what can you do. The back drop is absolutley unreal with a mix of local mountains and rivers and green fields. My only draw back is if you play this time of year and stray even slightly off fairway, you will have trouble finding balls with the mass of leaves. They do a great job of clearing the fairways but anything left and right, forget it. Staff are really friendly as are the members . all in all a great round even for a beginner as myself. Will be joining in the spring.

I always enjoy coming back to the Monmouthshire. A challenging well maintained course.

There were some good holes.some rediciously long par 3's for the average golfer!holes 6-9 were rather repetitive!☹️.like they had run out of ideas on flattest part of the course.

The course is very nicely presented. Three par 5’s in a row are a challenge on the front 9. Lots of trees lining the fairways so you need to hit it straight (I don’t and struggled).

Course is well laid out with challenging pin positions. Even after the heavy rain, course played very well. Most enjoyable afternoon. Highly recommend
