Excellent course beautiful setting tough but interesting par 3’s

Stunning scenery, Very friendly staff in the pro shop, beautiful golf course in tip top condition.

Great course
Course is well laid out with challenging pin positions. Even after the heavy rain, course played very well. Most enjoyable afternoon. Highly recommend

Challenging par 70. Interesting holes throughout, especially par 3’s ranging from 115 to 230yds. Highly recommend
Superb
A beautiful, well manicured course. Just driving in and seeing the course was inspiring.
Accuracy of the tee is imperative as greens are small. Not the longest course but cleverly protected by the mature trees and bunker placements.
3 par 5’s in a row on the front 9 was a first for me!
Brilliant day out
Outstanding
Outstanding course for a round of golf at a very reasonable price. Did not have to wait for the actual booked time. I strongly recommend all amateurs to experience once in this course.
Challenging but fair...
Played the course with my wife who plays 4-5 times a year, she doesn't hit the ball far so loved the amount of par 3's but don't let yardage of this course fool you... it's not easy as the greens are small.
The course was in great condition and some of the views are special.
I would also like to say a special thanks to the members who helped me jump my car after I left my lights on.
A lot of 4 ball groups around which slowed things down. Lovely course and place to play
testing challenge
This course is a well established course with tree lined fairways, that make it an interesting challenge, with some great par 3's
Well worth a visit
Good course that provides a reasonable challenge to golfers at all levels with greens and fairways that are well maintained. Friendly pro shop and clubhouse staff. Only negative being that as a two ball we were playing behind two extremely slow four ball groups which certainly extended the time we took to get around. Will certainly look to play again using discount offers.
Lovely course
Great location. Well laid out course. Undulating without being hilly.
Good variation between holes though a couple of the consecutive par 5 holes were a little flat and uninteresting, part of the historic racecourse I think. Dont let that put you off though, other holes made up for those couple. Not a course to get bored with quickly
