First round of the year!
Started off a bit rough esp. the water holes. Enjoyed our round, birds doing alot of squawking! We were paired up with a single guy...very personable. Just visiting area but this course is on our list annually!
Nice course
Pace of play was good. Greens are in good condition. Fairways are a little thin. Tee box’s ok.
Great older layout
Great old style course. Nice putting greens. Very undulating/ keep it below the hole. Teed off as a foursome at 9:30 finished in 3 1/2 hours Lots of wildlife sandhill cranes gators etc. over all very satisfied with my experience
Nice course
Course is in pretty good condition greens were in good condition fairways were a little thin tee box’s ok pace of play wasn’t too bad. Wind made it a little tough playing today but still had a good time.

Not real friendly and not worth the money. Tees and fairways are fair at best.
Tight little course- well protected with water & sand
Older tree lined course with lots of water - fronting greens especially the front 9.
Glad that i played with a guy that has played here a lot, as you need lay up properly on a few holes.

First time playing here. Very nice course Ann's wel kept. Greens are excellent. Layout makes you use all your clubs. Had a lot of fun playing here and will definitely be back.

Enjoyable Day
First time playing Boca Royale and it was very enjoyable. Pace of play was good, finished in just over 4 hours. Course conditions were good, greens were rolling true. Plenty of water to make it interesting. Staff welcome was friendly, met in the parking lot with cart. Pro shop also welcoming and service in eating area after the round was excellent.
Highly recommend trying Boca Royale!
Nice well maintained course in Venice
I live within 10 minute drive so playing a nice course close to home is great. Its a semi-private so worth asking about member outings or groups. Best to get out before them. Course was re - done last year with much improvements taking hold.
All around great golf course
Course was in great shape, the staff was very friendly. The course is a challenge but not too much so. I would highly recommend this club.

Obviously the course was wet due to significant rainfall.
Course layout was nice!
Yes summer rains are hitting us hard with over 11" this past weekend alone. The good news of course is that the dry season is approaching very fast. Come on out and play and thank you for your positive feedback and support. Our entire team appreciates it.
this month they start you on the 10th and finish with the front nine. I don't know why but this threw me. I shot probably 6 strokes higher tan average

Boca Royale Golf Club
Beautiful golf course kept in excellent condition by the dedicated grounds crew. This course personifies excellence. The fairways are well covered, the greens were perfect with lots of undulations for a challenging game. Cart paths almost completely surround this course with very few gaps. The fairways are a generous width, well marked, surrounded by tropical trees and shrubbery with homes intermingled on the course but far enough away that there is no problem. Lots of Florida wildlife everywhere. Don't miss an opportunity to try this gem - you'll be back for more. Highly recommended!

Fairways, greens, hazards are,all in great condition for midsumner.

Course was in great shape.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. This was my first time at Boca Grande. I was paired with a threesome that had played the course many times so that was a great help. Greens and fairways were in gear shape. The approaches to several of the greens had recently been repaired, but that was not a big deal. Plenty of sand in the bunkers. I would totally play this again if I were staying longer.
