Surprising gem

Interesting course. A proper course, with greens you can see, no real blind shots, but also some interesting holes without it being crazy golf.

9 Hole

Didn't realise this was a 9 hole course. No pro shop opened and I could gave just walked on.

No Golf card just a green keeper sat in a office.

It was hard to work out your way around but some members helped.

Wet

Very wet under foot but a really interesting 9 hole. Lovely views but play in spring or summer to get the best out of it. Wind obviously makes a big difference too!

First time at Storws Wen

Met some really friendly Seniors when I arrived who invited me to play with them the next time I wanted to play.. The lady behind the bar was really helpful and kind too.

I found the course layout interesting until 7,8 and 9 which are up & down. A bit wet in places but overall I found it in good condition. I'd recommend it to others but play in the height of summer to ensure no puddles. The greens were great too; every one of them.

All in all £13 for 9 holes was well spent. Recommend it if you are in the area.

Great Holiday Golf

Ideal for holiday golf. Lovely 9 hole course with some tricky par 3's. A word of warning family groups playing foot golf share the course during school holidays.

Interesting

You need to keep on the fairway as if you go in the rough the balls gone as very dense brambles.
