Good value golfing
Great course in very good condition. All staff friendly. Greens were good even though they had feed on them.
Definitely return again soon.
Great course
Played for the first time on Sunday..Very well kept parkland course..Stunning scenery..Well worth a visit.
Great track if in the area
Played here while on holiday for the week. Got the round for 21 quid which I thought was brilliant price for the course. Great layout and condition of the course was brilliant. Played on a dry, calm day. Course is a decent yardage with some tough par 3’s that could ruin in a scorecard if playing in a club medal. Green we’re true however there were a few questionable pin placement that made 2 putting feel as hard as an up and down from 30 yards away. We made sure we tee’d off on our time to make sure we weren’t up the group in front however the group behind us balls weren’t far away from us when walking to the green causing them to be behind us most of the round. If they’d waited and tee’d off at their time it would have been a faster round for them but then again that wasn’t our problem. Members seemed friendly however everyone seemed to speak in Welsh which you would expect but they still acknowledge us when letting us play through or finding balls. Clubhouse wasn’t open due to it being the queens funeral so couldn’t really review food and drink however completely understandable. Overall thought this was a really nice course with brilliant views and would definitely play again next time in the area.
Carnafon
We had a lovely game of golf on a picturesque course friendly person welcomed us gave us directions to where we playing from. The course was in a great condition views where breathtaking. Had a great game no hold ups and finished off with a lovely meal and a pint a great day out.
Easy course to play
Good relaxing course to play. No real testing holes enjoyable surprisingly flat.
Worth a visit
Despite the heatwave last week the course was in great condition and fairways nice and green. This is a short course but challenging with plenty of dog legs off the tee. Some very nice elevated tee positions too. Definitely worth a visit if playing in the area.
Good holiday golf
Good course for holiday golf. We were lucky to play on a beautiful sunny day. It'll be much more challenging when the wind blows.
Short course
We really enjoyed the course. The greens were slow which helped my husband also a short course for a 7 handicap. It was a bit slow but we were a 2 ball.
Pro shop staff extremely helpful as my trolley decided not to work.
The views were amazing.
Will definitely revisit before we go home
This is a “must play” course
An open and challenging course which was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were really welcoming and top quality food and drinks at very reasonable prices. We would love to play the course again
Amazing condition & Challenging
A great course in amazing condition, despite very wet days before. A challenging course with the wind blowing off the sea, makes plotting your way around it a must. Would recommend anyone passing through to play a round. Friendly staff who are more than happy to help.
A little gem
A lovely course. Not the longest, but tricky, with some blind shots.
Friendly and welcoming. Give it a try. I for one, will return
First Time
Really nice course. Great views,. Challenging but not too long. We really enjoyed playing at Caernarfon golf club.
A must play in north Wales - best condition course in the area
Me and my family were on holiday in North Wales last week - Obviously took my golf kit. I played 3 courses and of the 3 in the area this was playing the best by far. I highly recommend.
I am a 7 handicap club golfer from the Midlands and had a decent round of 76 gross however the course is near on 10/10 playing absolutely lovely given the scorching weather.
We teed off at 8 and the greens were cut and rolled immaculate. Fairways nice and short and in good condition.
Front 9 is a challenging parklands set with some short tricky par 4s, which had me thinking about shot selection and clubbing - second hole included in that.
Back 9 is beautiful, playing down the coast line right on the sea with some great holes.
The local members were really friendly and made the effort to talk to us after our round and were good guys. The clubhouse is pretty standard but serves food and has a bar.
To any society or group planning a visit to north Wales this is a must play at least once as you will be able to play some proper golf here. I strongly recommend.
Excellent course, well presented!
We were met with a warm welcome and the layout of the course was explained very well to us.
They were also able to accommodate our request for an additional Golf buggy on the day.
The course is beautifully maintained and will be a test for any visitor.
