Bull Bay Golf Club

We arrived at the course to a great Welcome. As none of our group as played the course before they spent time giving us a heads up in the pro shop. The course played great and the greens were lovely.

Beautiful course, in good condition considering recent weather. Was nice to receive a phone call to say not all of the holes were open but that didn’t affect the experience. Played 6 holes twice to make up 18 which the pro basically left me to choose. Can’t wait to return in spring/summer. Views in every direction are brilliant.👌

Played in perfect conditions. A challenging course with lots of dog legs and blind shots. Greens and fairways in very good condition, tees could have done with cutting.

Excellent service and advice in pro shop but do not use their course slope, it is ridiculously low and makes scoring to handicap index impossible.

Would definately play again

An absolute gem - this wales’ Nothernmost Golf Course - challenging but not disheartening. Lots of blind shots - so know your yardages and take a yardage book. Absolute stunning views and great condition overall - lots of elevated, bucket-hat greens that like a sensible and thoughtful approach. Again - know your yardage and not a course for a sudden ‘fairway allergy’ 😂 - it helps to stay on the fairways.

After your round visit the restaurant - we had a really nice meal on the terrace enjoying the absolutely friendly, caring staff and sun.

We will be back to improve our score with the knowledge we got from this first round.

Fantastic course that is so well look after and has some amazing holes. It was windy which I believe is normal for the course as it has high elevations and is on the coast. A must play course

What a fantastic course, really friendly pro shop,members and club house. Had a great round of golf even though the weather was poor, treated to a pod of dolphin's in the bay visible from the clubhouse. Totally recommended this course

Unfortunately due to near hurricane conditions on the day of the booking, we decided to cancel our booking discretion being better part than valour. I received a email from golf now telling me there would be no refund as had already paid for the round, didn't even offer vouchers to play on a different date when there may have been more clement weather. Because of this I will never ever use golfnow for anything again! I have played bull bay before and it is a wonderful challenging course especially in the wind and hope to play it again but will book through the course in future!

4.75hr round - unacceptable on a Thursday afternoon.

A very warm welcome and a super test of golf. Greens were superb and better than the PGA at the Belfry where I played in August. Credit to the green keeping team. Stunning views and an all round excellent experience. I got the hot deal and it was good VFM.

A really excellent golf course. Challenging and interesting layout with a course in fantastic condition. The green staff are really looking after this gem. Anglesey’s and one of Wales’ finest.

Probably the best course I've played and I've played at Celtic Manor, Forrest of Arden, The Oxfordshire amongst others. The Bull Bay was immaculate and would thoroughly recommend playing there if you are on the Isle of Anglesey or even in Wales for that matter. Everyone at the club were so friendly, staff & members, especially the young lady in the pro shop and the guy who run the bar. Made my 11 year old son and I feel very much at home. We even bumped into Jamie Donaldson (a very nice bloke) who had played the course the day we were there who very kindly agreed to having his picture taken with my son. I would rate Bull Bay as 10/10 in all areas.

Sting wind, tight fairways and deep rough make this a real challenge. Very friendly club shop, good banter with some local members and course in great condition. Definitely recommend but make sure you take plenty of golf balls!!!!

This course is one of the best courses we have played ,helped massively by the fact there was hardly any wind and the course was not busy ! Because you need plenty of time to look for balls ? Very tricky but brilliant. The condition was excellent ,greens at their best and quite hard to read, views around the course are outstanding! The young lady in the pro shop was very helpful when my brother had forgotten his battery for his trolly ( which you really do need ) staff lovely and food really good !

Can’t wait to play again 10/10 I guess it would be really hard with a stiff breeze ?
