First time here

My wife and I booked a deal here and played the course for the first time. Have to say it’s one of the most picturesque tracks we’ve ever played with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside on virtually every hole. That said, you require a good level of fitness to walk the course as it is extremely hilly. We noticed that most players, even the younger ones, used buggies. The course was in good condition and was very dry despite earlier rain. The greens were slick and the course overall well maintained with a terrific NHS in a heart cut into the 18th fairway. The pro and the staff in the clubhouse were all welcoming and friendly and this would definitely be a course that I would recommend to golfers of any standard.

Good round

Really enjoyed the course. It is the kind of course where you need to play once just to get the hang of it. Was in good condition and found it similar to Kington in some ways. I would say it is one of the best courses in the region which I have played. Found there was a lot of slopes I was hitting my second shot off.

Beauty

First time here with 2 others and wow what a beautiful course ,tough but fair if you strike the ball right, we arrived a bit early for our tee time and the pro in the shop let us go a bit early as there was a small society waiting to play, top marks to the pro, greens were true and quick. Loved every minute of our experience, thanks.

Would recommend playing the course, nice wide fairways, well maintained greens and fairways. You need to be used to playing in the wind! Would also recommend a buggy.

Views, views, views

This is a stunning golf course with panoramic 360 degree views. The course is not long but is offset by some very difficult quirky holes. All in all a very good test of golf.

Spa Dragon

The rolling hills and fine views await you at Llandrindod G.C. A testing track with thick upland rough, fine fairways and good smallish greens. For the first time visitor the first hole is an uphill challenge / frightener that is somewhat easier than it looks? The course is not the flatest of walks but has golf buggies available for those who do not relish the challenge of this undulating setting. Like the first the last hole will remain with you long after you leave this enjoyable interesting golf course.
