Super conditions
Course was in unbelievable condition for the time of year, nice little clubhouse, everyone else super friendly on course. Highly recommend.
Great to get out and play
Course was pretty good considering the rain we have had last week
1st two holes were out of action and we were invited to play what ever two we fancied again , we played the 6th & 7th again straight after as the course lends its sept to that
It was not too busy , plenty of room on the course , we didn’t get held up anywhere
Greens were good , it was still winter tees though , but to be expected
Fantastic all round!!!
Played a few courses around the area and honestly the best I've encountered. Great course layout, it was a bit damp when we played so balls "plugged" into the fairway every now and then, but to be expected. Greens in fantastic condition, slower than usually but again....needed another day or so to dry out. Making it my default course so very happy playing there again!
Good Course , Friendly Staff
I thought the Course, considering the last 8 weeks weather, was in good condition, with the Greens being very good, again, considering the recent weather conditions. I have played the Course in warm , dry, summer conditions, and it was very good. The Staff at St. Mellon's, whether in the Pro-Shop, or the Bar are very Friendly, always a warm welcome, and good service. The approach road needs some serious pot holes to be filled in, again, due to the wet weather, but this work needs doing.
Considering the rain
Despite the rain and a few closed holes ground staff have done and excellent job making the course very playable. Respect to the locals as they must take care repairing as they go
unbelievable course
Played here a few times but for this time of the year the greens are in superb condition, fair play to the green keepers unbelievable.
Superb greens
Under the drought conditions experienced this year having a receptive green was impressive and made for a very enjoyable round.. Really enjoyed the layout aswell. Bunkers were a little inconsistent. Overall under this years harsh conditions the course was in great shape. I will play there again next week.
Felt like home
Lovely course, not particularly long, had amazing greens, quite slopey too add to the test. Loved it. Will be back.
