The Hideaway Country Club

Sehr schöner Platz. Super gepflegt. Nettes Clubhaus, freundliche Mitarbeiter. Platz ist eher kurz, aber anspruchsvoll, die zweiten Neun mehr als die ersten aufgrund des Wassers. Nur zu empfehlen, einer der Besten Plätze in Ford Myers für mich.

No driving range, just some nets to hit into. Course was in phenomenal shape, staff were great. We only had a twosome so it was very slow playing. Will play again.

5100 yards from the tips on carpets of grass that feel and look thick and even from the tees through the fairways and on to the greens. Greens were receptive, though firm, considering that some fairways were damp enough to show plug marks from high shots that landed short of the green.

Pace of play was just under 4 hours on rhis par 67 track. Slope of 120 from the tips suggests modest difficulty over all, but sand, water and out of bounds can add strokes for golfers who keep track of such things.

Lady in pro shop very helpful as was the course host.. We were told food was available until 3. After our round when we went into clubhouse and tried to order food we were abruptly told that the kitchen was closed at 14.05. This spoiled it for us. The pro shop is well stocked and the course was in great condition.

It is so well hidden - and named! However, find it, and you'll be rewarded.

The staff and local members are extremely thoughtful and helpful.

Having played so many classic courses here in the USA, as well as Canada, Ireland, Scotland & England, my day was too good to leave unattended.

Immaculate conditions. This course is perfect for my wife and still challenging enough for me. Used almost all the clubs in my bag. Great day!!

Great short course!!! Conditioning is as good or better than any higher end private club in the Ft Myers/Naples area. Staff was pleasant, accomodating and verly helpful.

New clubhouse is great, as is the food n drink. All in all, The Hideaway is a can’t miss option in SWFL!! Ty

The Hideaway is by far the nicest course that we play in the area. The fairways and greens are perfect. It is one of those courses that you enjoy playing just for the great condition and the scenery. Although it is only a par 67 it is challenging. There are only 2 par 5's but they require a perfectly placed tee shot anf 2 more perect shots to get to the green. A par on either of these holes is a great score. I would HIGHLY reccommend The Hideaway.

Beautiful course in great condition rarely seen in a short course. Worth playing again.

TEE BOXES, FAIRWAYS, AND GREENS, ALL LIKE PLAYING ON CARPET. THE COURSE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. VERY ENJOYABLE ROUND OF GOLF.

I’ve played this course around ten times and I am amazed at the consistency of excellence that is evident at the Hideaway. It is a very playable course and from tee to green it always rates a 10/10. The only drawback that I have experienced is in the restaurant. The food is good, but the service leaves much to be desired. The course still rates a perfect rating in my book. I look forward to my next round there.

Perfectly manicured tee boxes, fairways and rough.

The greens were in great shape a little slow but it was a Sunday and with the rains this time of year I expected them to be slower.

The staff is wonderful! Sean the Head Golf Pro was there and as always very accommodating and seeing him again after not playing there in 9 months was an added bonus.

Bring your "A" game because you'll need it. The course is short enough for all players to have fun. Beware this place doesn't have a range! So you will head to the first tee with what god has given you for the day.

The course conditions are pristine and no blade of grass was out of place. The entire staff were wonderful and friendly using names for everyone which we don't see anymore. The green were in great shape.

I recommend this place to anyone!
