Still a Hidden Gem
I hadn't played The Hideaway in years, and playing in a storm isn't ideal conditions to offer a review, but it is still one of the most interesting tracks to play in the area and the pas pallum fairways and greens were still like carpet. Great experience even in the rain! I wish there was more of a practice facility, but the warm-up area and practice green are good enough to get you ready. The course is tight, so if you aren't relatively precise off the tee, carry extra balls.
Hideaway/rain
The course is in beautiful shape. The only bad thing that I didn’t get to finish my back nine because we had a storm came by.

The Hideaway
When I got to the practice green, it was so pretty that I thought it was artificial. The greens weren’t fast but rolled true. This it not the longest course, but the layout is spectacular. I truly enjoyed my day at this course.
Great course!
Love the layout of this course. Has a number of risk/reward holes that are very fun. Greens were spectacular and very fast. Make sure to hit some putts on the practice green 1st as it rolled very similar. We played 18 in 2.5 hours which was the cherry on top for me (twosome).

Immaculate condition love playing here. Would definitely tell people about this course.
Great Conditions, Fast play
Although this course is slightly smaller than a regular par 72 course, this is one the best maintained courses in all of SWFL. The fairways and greens are comparable to some of the nicest private courses in the area. Page of okay is great. Usually 2.5-3.5 hr rounds for me.
The greens do run a little slow, so use putting green at clubhouse. Also, the fairways are a little soft, but still excellent conditions.
Nice course take advantage before they close it off to public
private course that is offered to the public during the off season. Great conditions and the pace was 3.5 hrs for 18
