Bella Vista Golf Course

My husband and I have not been back to this course in over 10 years so we decided to celebrate our anniversary by playing a round of golf here. We are very glad we did. The course is in excellent shape and the people who work here are courteous and friendly. The round only took us four hours which we appreciated. Water and bathrooms were available which is always a welcome amenity. The only bad thing I have to comment on was that the ladies tee boxes were pretty sad compared to the men's. We will definitely come back again and recommend it to our friends.

It's hard to find a better value than Bella Vista at the GolfNow rate. The course has good variety of holes, and is both challenging and fair. The condition is pretty good considering the lousy summer weather. They had just aerated and sanded the greens but they still were decent. Pace of play being first off was pretty good, but the constant presence of maintenance became annoying. I know they try to maximize the number of times available, and hence revenue, but they shouldn't start play until the crew has time to get the course ready for the day's play.

Played it for the first time (36 holes) and went back a couple of days later for 27 and then 18 again. So 81 holes in a week. So a good sample.

First two trips I teed off at 6:30 AM and the pace of play was outstanding. The extra 18/9 were a hair slower but I did the 36 in 5 1/2 hours and the 27 in 4 1/2. Both rounds during the week. The last 18 I teed off later and the round was more like 4 1/2 for 18 which is not bad but not as fast as an early tee time.

Course is in very good shape. Not easy but not difficult. Does require one to be smart on course management and where to miss.

Staff is very nice and there is a nice grill. Easy to stop by at the turn and, given the routing, also between 12 & 13.

Finally, the course is great for holes-in-one! I aced my 27th hole (#18) on my second trip there. 7 iron from 160 yards - pitched 6" right of the hole and hopped right in for an ace.

Very good experience overall

The condition was fantastic. Tee boxes were plush along with well manicured fairways and the ball was rolling true to form.

Excellent condition course, nice variety of holes. Several interesting holes make for a memorable experience. The finishing hole completes your round with a downhill par 3 that requires a straight shot for your par.

Island Green at 14 is nice touch for a well laid out course

IT`s possible you could use every club in the bag. This place is a real JEWEL of a golf course. Just north of Philly , They have the price a little high, But with golf now,,, it`s in my budget,,,,, This course has every shot you can think of. blind tee shots, uphill and downhill holes, and a taste of the PLAYERS ( an Island green ) that you`ll go back for a second helping... If I had to pick one thing, The carts,,,,, I wish they would have better carts. GPS would be nice,,,

,Besides that,, From the tips at 6400 plus yrds,, this place is CHOICE!!! If you don`t visit Bella Vista,,, Your gonna miss out on a GR8 track!!

Bella is a good play for most levels. Better players may miss some toughness, but if you're out with buddies of varied levels this track is for your group. Pick the tee box for your level and go have fun. Always in great condition, with a friendly staff. Signature hole is 14, an island green par three. Take enough club to hit the middle of the green no matter where the flag is and two putt for par. Don't tempt fate and a large number.

Course was in very good shape, except the greens had been aerated. The greens were rolled and ran fairly true, Once the holes close up on the greens, they should be in great shape. Played from the blue tees, shoot around 90 on average, maybe a little lower. Fun and challenging, one of the best courses in the area.

Great day with a good start after a frost delay. The conditions were good for this time of year. Big back up on the turn which eventually thinned out by the 13th hole.

Staff was not very friendly, not just to me but took a call while checking us in and was not friendly to the caller either.

The course was in good shape for the end of the season. Beautiful back drop on several holes with the fall foliage.

The snack house doors were open but no employees could be located.

I will probably give this course another chance eventually due to it's beauty and would recommend to local friends but I would not send friends out of their way to try this course due to staff.

Top course in the area for the price. I'd be willing to pay more to play this little gem. Great scenery, fantastic course conditions, and all around good times.

when checking in at the golf shop they asked me my age and gave me the senior discount......starter was very friendly made us feel welcome. course was in good condition...the greens were rolling very well.....we enjoyed a great day....

This is one of my top 5 courses within the area; fast greens, well groomed fairways and such a well kept course. Please do yourself a favor and play this beautiful course.

Excellently conditioned golf course. If you missed a putt it's because YOU missed the putt. No untrue rolls here. Good speed too.
The layout is a good mix of longer and shorter holes, and they all have something to keep your interest.
A nice round of golf.
