Course was closed but we weren’t informed
After checking the website to make sure the course was open We drive an hour only to discover that the course was closed. I tried ringing he club house and the golf pro whose car was there but no one was answering the phone. Because the website was not updated to say the course was closed I’ve loss my paid up front green fees so I’m not very impressed with Killeen golf course to say the least. Hopefully this won’t happen to anyone else

Nice parkland course
Killeen GC was a very nice parkland course. Many of the holes seemed like the hole you just played. The tight fairways is the challenge on this track. Greens were in excellent condition.
Great value at 18 euro on a Sunday afternoon.

Avoid slow play
Extremely slow play on a Friday afternoon would avoid this tee time. Course playing very tough greens not at their best at the moment.

Very good. Unfortunately no bar or anywhere to get a pot of tea or a sandwich after the fame .
But it was a quiet day so i understand it properly wasn't worth having staff and kitchen open. .pity but will be back
