Poor course conditions
The greens were in terrible shape.
Played in afternoon and there was no organization regarding groups and teetimes.
One positive aspect was there were shortage of carts with adequate electric charge but when our cart quit after 10 holes, staff brought us a new cart quickly
Golf carts
When we got to the course they were out of golf carts. By time we received one we had to tee off 20 minutes late
Cart Delay
Waited 25 minutes past our scheduled tee time of 11:30 am to get a cart as none were available. Many others waiting as well. Staff indicated they had many carts that were broken-expecting new carts in a few weeks.
No carts
Not the course’s fault at all. It rained all morning the day we played. When we got there, just as rain was letting up, we’re informed that carts were not allowed for the day. We had to choose between not playing or walking 18. We chose to play and experience was ok. It just stinks that we paid for a round with cart and did not get what we paid for. Clubhouse staff was good about it and understood. It was out of ther control.
Pines Course First Round
In fairness, it’s winter golf. So, I need to play it during the summer to really get a feel for it. Limited grass of any kind on tee boxes. Fairways average. Greens bumpy. Hard to tell how the greens will look / play during season. I’ll play it some more as the price to course was decent. Will recommend it to others. Pretty open. Some water in play. Looking forward to playing Oaks course here.
Waste of a review - anyway, too many sorry golfers out there that play way too slow. If you can't even break 90, go play somewhere else and let the members of the golf course play. Snowbirds and such have plenty of money - go play in Destin and SanDestin and leave our course ALONE!
Below average muni course
Fairways, tee boxes, greens all on top of each other. Pretty flat and straight forward. Bunkers were more or less piles of sand on the course. Greens in good shape, but completely flat.
Would expect to pay $30-40 for a course like this. Will not be back.
The Copperhead Cup Package
Because there are too many golfers on the course as well because you need to find somewhere else to play - unless you are a member.
