Golfer Reviews
BEST DEAL FOR THE MONEY
Played Eglin Eagle course , black stone, and this course …definitely the best of the three
Very nice and staff was very helpful. Really enjoyed the course.
Excellent Golf Value
This was just a great course for the price. The course is not immaculate but kept in very good playing condition. Greens were a little on the slow side but that's part of golf. Greens were in excellent condition. The Oaks was a pretty tight track but I really enjoyed the layout. I've played places down here and spent a LOT more money and the course conditions not be this good. You can tell the effort is there to keep this place in good playing condition. I definitely recommend this place for the overall value it provides. Will definitely play again in the future.
They still need to work on wash out areas
There are some wash out areas on #16 that need attention. And there are some bare dirt spots to the left of the fairway bunker on #17 that could be easily repaired with the laying of sod. Overall pretty good though.
Little expensive for the conditions
Staff was great and layout of the course was nice. As far as conditions go, fairways were decent but the tee boxes and greens were absolutely horrendous. Tee boxes had very little grass and the greens had way too much of it. Felt like you were putting in the fairway. $43 a person isn’t bad around Ft Walton but it was no where close to a $40 course.
