Oaks at Ft. Walton Beach Golf Club

The staff was very nice & friendly. The course got crowed on the back 9 Nine Holes. I only played 11 holes bcuz the wait time.

Plush greens but high grass on outskirts of fairways that hide your ball easily. Nice course lined with lots of trees so stay on the fairway or you'll lose your ball. I'll play there again for sure.

Thoroughly enjoyed my round of golf here today. The staff was extremely professional and considerate. I messed up tee time, I arrived an our late thinking that my tee time was at 12:28, but it was actually at 11,:28 am. Prepaid. But the gentleman at the check in was kind enough to reschedule new tee time for me without any penalty.

Very nice greens and fairways. Greens getting slightly faster. There was a light dusting layer of sand, but I'm sure that's just a preparation for the fall, winter coming up. It should all be settled in in a week or so. Very enjoyable day at the course. It was still warm, but not the swealtering humidity that we have on the Gulf Coast.

This course was laid back and fun, especially for the price. Everything in the area is already expensive enough so it was nice to play a good course and save a few bucks.

First time playing it,the course was in decent shape,alittle bit of shooting gallery,on the front 9,but for the money,definitely worth it.

Enjoyed playing this course why visiting the area. Very challenging and mature course.

My only word of caution is don’t plan on the rental clubs. Very spotty at best.

You won’t regret it and much more affordable than some of the resort courses in Destin.

enjoy the course, however there was a tournament on the Pines course, so everyone was thrown on the Oaks course. Pace was extremely slow, no ranger to monitor the pace or even the fact that groups of 5 were playing and would not let others play through.

Really great course for the price. One of the cheapest in the area and it’s well maintained and laid out. Not the nicest compared to rocky bayou or the destin courses but 1/4-1/2 the price. Super nice staff too.

Great course, greens were well kept and course layout mixed in tough holes with easy ones. Fun water placement too haha. Staff was informative, and friendly. I will be back alot. Great day of golf

My name is Ken, I did not play any golf since COVID hit the USA, until 23 Aug 2022 /10:30. I had a great round of golf at the Oaks Course in (FWB). I look forward to returning in the near future.

A city run course that has improved very much of the last year. Greens putt a little slow but are in good shape.
