Old school Florida course

Great value at Ft. Walton municipal. Oaks Course was in good shape, bunkers were raked, greens were shaggy and slower than what I was accustomed to. Fairways were decent but narrow with many overhanging trees. Tight fairways accurately describes the course. I will play here again and try the Pines course next time. Also, great range and practice area. Nice clubhouse and restaurant too.

No ranger = slow play

The two groups immediately in front of me were extremely slow and had the entire course backed up with no ranger in sight. Being a single, I was behind a group who suggested that I skip a few holes ahead if I was in a hurry. Playing through was never an option apparently. I eventually joined the 3-some behind me and still waited 20 minutes per hole. Do you have rangers????
