Perfect price for a perfect day
The Oaks at Fort Walton Beach is a fair course with only about 3 quite challenging holes. The course lays itself out in a way that is less convenient for walking, but not impossible . It is nice to know that your money will go a long way to a nice round of golf!
Ft. Walton Beach Oaks
This is our 10th year to visit the Florida Panhandle. And this is by far the best condition yet for the Fort Walton Beach Oaks layout. We’re going to play the Pines next week. Looking for an equal improvement.
My go to course
FWB both Pines and Oaks are great courses for the price. The course is always well maintained with only minor issues usually on the greens depending on the time of year which is normal for a municipal course. There a always a few bad eggs that don’t treat the course respectfully and the staff does it’s best but with the amount of players it is what it is. I’ve never had a terrible time playing here and it’s always well priced and the perfect course for beginners and new players.
Great value
The Oaks course is tight and a challenge for most players. The greens are in good condition and are a challenge to read properly. Overall a great value for the area and I will be back.
Great course for the money
Great course for the money. Can be a little slow at times but the course is in good condition.
Always Great
We always have a great time playing this and the Pines. We play every Thanksgiving while visiting family in the area.
Good course
Good condition at this time of year. Should allow carts in parking lot.
Will take you 5 annoying hours to play a round.
This is my 3rd time playing at this course, and it will be my last. Place of play here is atrocious. Booking a tee time is pointless.. you’re not going to tee off on time, and there most likely won’t be any golf carts available when you get there (The 2nd time I golfed here, they tried to make me ride a golf cart with a random person because no carts were going to be available for at least an hour ). There’s just too many people on the course at one time. But the staff will keep cramming people on the course.
Basic course in decent shape
For the $23 I paid for my round, cart included, I have no complaints (other than for how I played that day). Course is in fine shape with all greens being well kept. First Florida golf game and I was pleased enough to want to come back. At that price, preferably. No starter though which was weird. We just made our own grouping.
Great time
Joined 1 other gentlemen on front and some else Joined on back . Really enjoyed and course was in good shape as well.
Well maintained
We played a few courses in the area while we were on vacation this course is head and shoulders above comparison similar priced courses in the area we will play here again
Course is in great condition!!!
We play here almost every weekend and it's a great time. The greens are in good shape, the only issue that we've had is that when we make tee times they don't tell if there's a tournament going on or not so the play has been very slow. Other than that it's always a good time.
Fun course. Great value.
We played the Oaks course. The layout is challenging. Course condition was good. One of the best values in the gulf coast area.
