Oaks at Ft. Walton Beach Golf Club

The oaks has been closed for maintenance for over a month

Parts of the course are in great shape other parts are horrible

Seems it could be in better condition and for Gods sake please get rid of those horrible mats on the driving range. They’ve been there for way too long. Not even close to hitting from the ground

Ok to the rest of the review. Overall course conditions fair

Pace of play due to only one course being open and high volume is slow at best.

Played the round with my wife enjoyed the day dispite slow play and mediocre course conditions

Course conditions are fantastic, great layout and nice challenge for wide open spaces. Pretty trees line the course.

Two courses. Some really nice holes with several average holes. Pretty good deals for the area. Thanks for being open during covid19.

Very steady pace of play. Greens are in good shape. Pin locations are awesome. Sometime very tricky. Sometimes easy. 1 of my favorite local courses

Pace of play was excellent and the round was very enjoyable.

The staff is always wonderful! The layout of the course is very nice. The greens and fairways.... no grass! Ladies tee boxes need tons of work. Thank goodness golf now has discounts for this course.

The staff was very friendly and the cost was reasonable for the quality of the course. The grass was fairly dormant so hitting shots was a little challenging. The pace of play was outstanding and finished the round in 3 hours. I am sure once the weather warms and the grass starts growing it will be in much better shape?

Understanding that we have had some unusual weather here, the greens were in a bit of tough condition but other love the course.

Went to play as a single was painted with another member and picked up a snowbird to start the round

We all played from different tees which seemed to help the flow as we had no one in front of us and no one pushing us all day

The weather was perfect the company was friendly and encouraging

We all played mediocre but thoroughly enjoyed the day the round and each other

For this time of year the course was great. Greens were smooth, fairways were good considering the Bermuda is still brown, tee boxes, traps, etc. we’re in good shape. This is our go to course during the spring time in this area.
