Reasonable value for money

Played it recently, I enjoyed it, my playing partners not so much! Very up and back, no standout holes, main defence was the wind and the greens, some of which were very tricky!

Very unusual to describe, maybe inland links, a lot of gorse, good bit of run on the ball and quite open in places.

Would I play it again, possibly, would my playing partners, that would be a no!

If not on the fairway, theres a good chance your ball is lost. Not much work is done off the fairway. The fairways were ok and greens were good (greens were more difficult than expected, big slopes).

Myself and 2 friends were left slightly disappointed. On the 1st hole we were told to keep up the pace as they were having a competition. We had just tee'd off, so it left us a bit irritated for the 1st few holes as we were not even wasting time.

Hidden gem

This is a brilliant “links” like course in the midlands. Great layout with some very challenging greens when the pins are placed competitively.

Will keep coming back.

Sheep everywhere

The greens were in good nick apart from having to deal with the 8/18 that had sheep dung all over it…. had to wait on multiple occasions and also try clear way just to take a shot due to sheep being all over the course , had to scrub clubs trolley wheels and golf shoes dues to absurd amount of dung all over the course.

Nobody was there, there was no pro shop supplying any refreshments …… tee times were a mess multiple people were just walking up to the hole and hitting. Etiquette was very poor almost got hit with a ball from a young golfer while on a different occasion another young golfer picked up my ball from the fairway when I asked for it back he tossed it along the fairway messing up my original tee shot.

For the price paid I wasn’t expecting to be as angry about this course but it was genuinely a disgrace with so much more potential

Brilliant course

Live playing the heath golf club. The greens need a little TLC but is expected this time of year.

Planting of local native trees

Course looking great with a programme of native tree planting well under way. Don't get rid of so much gorse, it's beautiful in bloom and adds character and degree of difficulty to maintain the course as a real test for all categories of player. Greens are exceptional for this time of year. New caterers provide lovely food after a lovely toind in the sunshine today. Now with clear views of the lake from several vantage points around the clubhouse and many holes, I highly recommend playing this inland links style course to all visitors of all abilities.

Top Clasd Greend

Another lovely day out in The Heath Golf ⛳️. Pity there's not a regular weekly Open Competition in place. Fairways were a bit wet and very tightly cut leaving to a lot of cleaning up to be done after the round was completed. Still the greens are superb and course layout getting easier and easier as obstacles are cleared away. Driving Range is top class and very accessible with the addition of card and contactess payment options available. Pity clubhouse not open for food afterwards. Still, highly recommended Golf course to play on just 50 minutes from Newlands Cross.👏🏌‍♂️🏌‍♀️

FANTASTIC 18 HOLE GOLF COURSE

Top class inland links style course. Fabulous golf course just 5 minutes off the Dublin/Cork motorway. Greens were in pristine condition and the fairways brushed and dry thanks to great natural drainage. Lift, clean and place on fairways only from 21/10/2024. Well worth a visit. Bring your friends. You won't be disappointed with the quality of this golf course.

Great course

Love playing this course. A good challenge with some unique and picturesque features. A couple of gray signature holes. A good test without being too tough.

Never again

I wouldn’t go back the course needs a lot of work and the greens were like playing on soggy moss and to make things worse a 4 ball of members slipped in in front of us and held the whole course up for the back nine

Hearh

Corse condition very bad.

And what we could only assume were members jumped in ahead of us in a four ball on hole 10.

Bring our round to a complete stand still and holding up all groups behind us. No apologies or even a wave to say sorry for causing delays.

Never saw such in-titled behaviour on a course. Our day was ruined and so was the day of all behind us. No course ranger checking players.
