104F feels like 114F makes outdoor recreation a bit difficult, but this is a very nice course and the staff and extras are noteworthy. Coolers on the cart with ice are a welcome benefit at this course. Pace of play was slow, and the greens are in the process of re-seeding, but all in all, I enjoyed the day. The tunnel between the 17th and 18th hole was a wonderful breezeway to cool off while waiting to tee off. Shade and trees are traded for a lot of sand bunkers that are dry, high lipped and difficult to escape, but luckily I was able to avoid most of them.

This course is usually in great condition. The greens were in very poor shape.

Course has a lot of potential. However these were my thoughts after playing:

1. First stop was the putting green and it was representative of the rest of the greens. Awful. They were clearing working on them but we played in the morning and after every putt you had to wipe a ton of sand off your ball.

2. Fairways were not consistently in good shape. You could hit a drive right down the middle and end up on a dirt patch.

3. Tee boxes were fine but in my opinion the grass should be cut shorter on them, a little long compared to the places I’m used to.

4. Staff was friendly.

5. Restaurant left a lot to be desired.

6. They did acknowledge when I got there that it was a bit rough and gave me a $25 dollar bounce back coupon for next time. But upon further inspection it has to be used before September 1st and on a tee time after 9 am. Well in the Phoenix summer I rarely tee off that late so I doubt it’ll get used.

The course had been recently aerated, both the greens and fairways. Lot's of bare spots. The over-seeding didn't take well at all. Sand bunkers were rock hard. A lot of rough was dead pan. I wouldn't recommend playing this course until everything fills back in. Very disappointed.

Greens were punched & top dressed earlier this week as well as other areas being plugged. Of course putting suffers & you might find fairway balls resting in hole from plugged fairway…..it seems like a few of the courses are doing this type of maintenance at this time of year. It kinda is what it is. Sand traps could use a lil attention but there seems to be plenty of sand in the traps for the most part. Plenty of water & ice on the course. Once the course heals up from the recent maintenance it should be really nice.

Greens and fairways were in extremely poor shape due to patches of dead or dying grass. The practice green was almost unusable, but it did make the rest of the greens seem better by comparison.. This course is usually in much better condition, so not sure what is going wrong this year.

The course layout is top notch. The greens were about as bad as they could be I won’t return until I see some good reviews

Staff is fantastic. Course is in great shape except greens are starting to get patch with the summer weather. Fairways and all else are in very good shape.

Really looking forward to playing this course today but unfortunately it’s in sad shapy and the greens were terrible. Glad I played cause we were looking to move to a club but here u only have the one course to play. Sorry I couldn’t be more positive but I play a lot of courses and not going here again till I see some good reviews.

Starter was really nice and helpful. Let us out early and even waiting we were done in 3 hours. Greens seemed to be changing over grass and were a little bumpy but held shots well. Overall layout is nice. Plenty of room to be off line a little. Some interesting par 3s. Will definitely be back.

As I stated the sand traps need to be addressed, very rocky and very little sand. Play this course at lease 4-5 times per year, this was the worse condition. I am sure it had a lot to do with extreme heat. I selected no due to the fact that can find much better conditions at other courses for a lessor price. Normally 35 is great price for the course but not in this condition.

Everyone was very friendly. Course was in good shape for summer. Wasn’t any on course drink cart the day I played but I was told ahead of time and got my drinks before the round.

Hot, hot, but water and ice was available on front and back sides. Tees, greens and most fairways were in very good condition. Only a couple fairways on back side were sparse for grass in limited areas.

Good course overall

Greens in great shape just too many bare or rough patches in the middle of the fairway. For the cost i I should not be playing from that bad of a lie in the middle of the fairway.
