About
The course at Corte Bella Golf Club was done in a desert style but avoids the target greens and forced carries that are at some desert courses in the area. It has a classic layout on a beautiful terrain of ficus, Italian cypress, and oleander, creating a scenic ambiance. The designer, Greg Nash, kept traditions of classical golf architecture in mind and made a course that champions the strategic player. Both the immaculately manicured greens and the wide fairways are well protected by bunkers on this course, making accuracy on the approach shot a priority. Water hazards come into play on three holes at Corte Bella Golf Club.

Greens need some love
The fairways and tee boxes are in excellent condition. The greens need some love. They look like the transition from winter to summer grass did not take. They are covered in moss and are kind of bumpy. They are not terrible, but it is noticeable. The sand traps could also use some attention. Most of them were hard packed. There was one issue that I found was unprofessional. I booked my tee time and waited until the time came, but a couple of groups who booked tee times AFTER me jumped in front of me and slowed things down. There was another group who booked after me show up while I was teeing off claiming they were next even though they booked 30 minutes after me. I realize it is summer time, but if tee times don't matter than why have them?
No where near a $99 Course
At best this is a $45 course. The course was empty which was good for pace of place however, the course has NO beverage cart. The sand traps were wet and soggy, the greens were plagued with fungus. The bar staff were less than desirable and obviously miserable for no one was there. This course is obviously catering to the Corte Bella residents and doesn't care about outsiders other than to rip them off on greens fees. They should just go fully private and shut down when their snow birds leave for the summer.

Sunday turned out fantastic. Course was empty and we played a 3hr round. No waiting at all. Course is lush and in fantastic shape!
i love this course
the club is well run, the atmosphere is GOLF! and it shows. tee boxes with the exception of a few, were very well maintained. fairways were well maintained and the greens ran true and consistent. their sand traps however, needed help. for a course with multiple holes dominated dominated by traps...come on man-this is considered desert golf, right? these are easy fixes. the clubhouse food and atmosphere are great. all in all, when i can get on this course, i jump!
country club-esque
such a fine golf community. the golf course is in immaculate shape every time i play throughout the season. the people are inviting, the food is fantastic. and they do this time after time at a very reasonable rate
From the time we dropped off our clubs until it was time to put them back in our Tahoe the staff was excellent
