Good course condition and great greens

I am overall very satisfied with this course. My tee time was Wednesday at 8:50 AM and it was a 4 hour 10 minute round. The greens were in great shape and rolled true. Fairways were pretty wide with not too many trees… but trouble still lurks on several holes. Cart girl was no where to be seen on the front nine, but after a call to the pro shop on hole 11 she was promptly waiting for us on 12. Just beware Nay side is barely 6000 yards. The other course is the longer course 7100 yards.

Greens were generally in good shape. Fairways were like a cow pasture, patchy. Pace was just OK. Food concessions were closed when I finished. Layout was OK but would have enjoyed it more from the back tees which were mostly unavailable. I have played Koiner and enjoyed that more.

I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the greens here. They rolled true, and despite a ton of play, they were in very good shape. The Teeboxes and fairways and rough were as expected for a public course that gets a ton of play. Some crab grass, and lots of bare spots. But overall I’d say the course was at times somewhat challenging, and fun. Good value for the money.

Most of the holes are straightahead, a few trees and bunkers in the middle, and pretty plain and flat. They did have some very challenging par fours, and they sprinkled in a couple of 300 yarder‘s. Staff was very friendly, and I didn’t try any food or anything like that. Overall a good experience.
