Stonelick Hills Golf Course

This course, like many others in the area, has let parts of their course fall in less than ideal condition, especially the bunkers which resemble weed gardens, not bunkers on an $85-$100 golf course. If I had paid this full rate I would have been very unhappy, but for the rate I got, I’ll give it a pass on that.

Stone Lick Hills is a must play. Great layout in which you will use every club in your bag. Greens were super fast but fair. Some of the holes are just a work of art, especially 9. Also appreciated the mixed tee box option (white/blue) for a good challenge.

Beautiful course with a nice layout for the price. Well maintained fairways and greens, and even though the tee sheet was full, the pace of play was very good. They have a buffalo that roams a fenced in area between a few holes. We got there early and ate lunch, hamburger and hot dog were excellent along with fries. Staff was helpful and very kind.

The course has not completely rounded into form yet. It is still a wonderful place to play. Pleasant staff. Wish I was closer to this course, would play it a lot more.

For the amount I paid, the greens levy a lot to be desired. The rest of the course is nice.

Not the best I’ve seen the course, but it’s early in the year. I would get a membership if it was 2K with a cart given the amount I could play it with being so far away. The layout is great and typically the conditions are phenomenal.

Well maintained. These greens are very fun to play. players fix their mark on the green and the greens keeper does a very good job. Lots of challenging traps in the fairways and greens. Loved it. Not a good course for beginners.

Love the course, but I'm confused by the allowing of a shotgun start for a large group while players with tee times are still on the course trying to finish up their rounds, this was very confusing to us...never had that happen anywhere else....ever.
