Heritage Shores Golf

14 holes in 3.5 hours, we gave up. Multiple twosomes in front of us. We finished 14, twosome in the fairway and one twosome on the tee at 15 and we could see other groups ahead of them. Not a marshal on the course.

This is one of the nicest courses I have played at the conditions are very nice staining from the new construction houses going in to the golfing area the GPS on the carts was a very nice feature

Working on the first tee, but overall course was in good shape for just being punched. Very slow play and no marshals in sight

A nice course with large landing areas and large greens. Recently recovering from airification so a bit slow. Lots of construction near the clubhouse which made it very confusion as to where the first tee was located. Staff was helpful.

Course has a wonderful design, and nice layout. The fairways and greens had been recently aerated but were still fast. There's a lot of construction going on in the area, and that can be distracting, but it's still a very nice course. I'll happily go back and play again after the turf heals.

Booked on golfnow.com....course was very busy at four pm. Practice round for the next days member/guest.....slow, slow, slow. Shouldn't have let me play as guys were hitting 2 or 3 putts per hole.
My two playing partners quit after 9, and after arriving on the next 9 by myself I went home.....This is a public tract, but the residents must feel like its a private one......Golf Course should not have made tee times available if this was a practice round for next day tourney.......Can't go wrong with an Arthur Hills layout though. Hopefully my next round will be a better experience.

even under construction this course was in great condition

I have played this course numerous times and it remains one of my favorites. It had rained the night before and the course was pretty wet. The greens still rolled very well. There is a lot of construction on and around the course which was a little distracting. Thus the reason for only 4-stars. Couldn't beat the deal...$19 for this course was a steal. It was a 240 tee time and the course wasn't busy. Played our round in 3 hr 15min. I recommend this course to anyone! Has tee boxes for all abilities.

Played here 4 weeks ago and enjoyed our experience. Today we had a beautiful day and the starter got us off a bit early.
As a twosome we were behind a threesome and a foursome and yet managed to play in 4 hrs. The greens were fast and the general conditions of the course were good.

Course was in great shape yesterday, love playing with GPS carts. I put this place up with Lighthouse and Rum Point.

Beautiful course in grade shape. Consistent greens with some challenging pin placements.
Bunkers were only negative - it had rained the night before and they had not been raked - so very compacted sand.
Will definitely play here again.

If you don't have the pocketbook for Baywood - take a 40 minute ride west and you'll get a great course for half the money. May not have as many flowers or gazebos - but is a well-kept and challenging course. Give a little love to the west side of Delaware - you won't be disappointing.

This course is always in good shape. The only problem I've had at this course is the snack bar is hardly ever open.

Played this course for 30 bucks . What a beautiful course , greens were pure and quick . had a lazy day played the white tees a little shorter than I like but it was fun and playable . I am from Hilton Head Island and play very nice courses all the time . this is as good as any . I will be back next year I am sure I will have to pay more to play but it will be worth it .

We found this course on Golf Now a few weeks ago and I returned to play as a single today. The staff is very friendly, there is a country club feel. Course is in great shape. Very fair test, but challenging with water in play on many holes. Beverage cart still operating in early evening.

Heritage Shores is a great course to play. Beautiful fairways and greens. Not much trouble if you stay in the middle of the fairway. Back nine seems easier than the front. As normal the 18th hole is the hardest.
Rain started on the back nine but I played my best golf in a while. Pared 5 holes in a row.

Course is exposed so when the wind blows, as it did today, it howls. As for the layout it was very interesting, and the course was in great shape. I felt some of the greens were near impossible to hold given the slope of the greens, how hard the ground was, and the speed of the greens and wind. But if you're traveling on 404/13 in/out of the OC, MD area, it's worth the stop, especially at the hot deal rate.

This is an excellent course, challenging, and well maintained. excellent rolling greens, friendly staff, I highly recommend anyone who hasn't played Heritage Shores to get out there and take the challenge. I will definitely be returning.

The course was challenging, yet fair for the 10-15 handicap. My son and I had a great time!
