Heritage Shores Golf

We found this course on Golf Now a few weeks ago and I returned to play as a single today. The staff is very friendly, there is a country club feel. Course is in great shape. Very fair test, but challenging with water in play on many holes. Beverage cart still operating in early evening.

Heritage Shores is a great course to play. Beautiful fairways and greens. Not much trouble if you stay in the middle of the fairway. Back nine seems easier than the front. As normal the 18th hole is the hardest.
Rain started on the back nine but I played my best golf in a while. Pared 5 holes in a row.

Course is exposed so when the wind blows, as it did today, it howls. As for the layout it was very interesting, and the course was in great shape. I felt some of the greens were near impossible to hold given the slope of the greens, how hard the ground was, and the speed of the greens and wind. But if you're traveling on 404/13 in/out of the OC, MD area, it's worth the stop, especially at the hot deal rate.

This is an excellent course, challenging, and well maintained. excellent rolling greens, friendly staff, I highly recommend anyone who hasn't played Heritage Shores to get out there and take the challenge. I will definitely be returning.

The course was challenging, yet fair for the 10-15 handicap. My son and I had a great time!

This course was fun to play; I recommend it. The conditions were very good and there were 5 sets of tees available for all levels of skill. The fairways are real wide, fun for bombing some long distance drives. It's not the most interesting or the toughest layout I have ever seen. It's a great value especially if you walk. Next time you are at the DE or MD beaches, put this on your list of places to play.

I was very, very impressed!! Fairways and greens were in stellar shape. Course has that "wide open" feel but there are the brush and water hazards that keep your mind on hitting it straight. Only one hole, left me scratching my head...The 18th green is a postage stamp with water wrapped around. It's literally a small rectangle. Just seemed weird for a closing hole. Course was busy and the snack bar was closed at 3 p.m. Overall great course and will play again.

Well laid out with enough challenges to keep it interesting The only reason I didn't rate it higher was extremely long playtime. course conditions were very good for this time year

My experience at Heritage Shores has always been very good. The staff was very pleasant. I had to call ahead and tell them that I would be a little late, and they were very accommodating. And with the deal I found on GolfNow.com, I could not beat that price for a course like that. I will definitely tell all my fellow golfers about it.

Everything was very well done. Friendly staff and course was in excellent shape.

This was our first visit. While the course is in a 55+ community, we had little difficulty with crowded conditions (it was mid-April & still a little cool). Course was nicely laid-out--plenty of water but not overly intrusive, decently wide fairways without very severe rough. Decent greens for early in season. With the great deal, it will be played again.

One of the best courses near the beach. 45 minutes from Bethany or Rehoboth and worth the drive rather than the croissant and overpriced courses closer to the beach!

Course was in unbelievable shape considering all the bad weather its had.Staff was friendly&helpful.Good layout&landscapes.Would play again, even though I'm 3hours away.Very satisfied.

One of the few courses that was open due to recent snow. Considering the winter season, the course was in very good condition. About 80 percent of the fairways were wet so the ball stopped as it landed making the course seem so long. The staffs were very kind and helpful. Would love to play there again.

Greens are fast and true.

We drove 90 minutes to play this course, and it was well worth it.
Started the round slightly after 1 and finished about 4:30. It was our first time there and we joked around with the club staff and a member about us wearing shorts,(not knowing how windy it could get). The members were behind us at the first tee, and we offered to let them go ahead, but allowed us to go first. Each group was a twosome and we never held them up. The course was easy to follow from tee to tee. The course was excellent, each hole presented its own challenge, but allowed plenty of space to play safely. The GPS system sent us our score card via email. Definitely will make another trip.

Playing here is just about as close one will get to being a member at a private course, everything about it is first class,
conditions of the tees, fairways and greens was outstanding, lot of water comes into play, but not over the top. Will definately play here again and recommend to others.

Course was in excellent shape.Fairways were perfect and greens were not too fast. Great course for price.
