First time playing this Course. The grounds were very rough and poorly maintained. For the money the course was good.
My parents came down from NC to a camp ground. I came up from Sarasota, FL and pitched a tent for a couple of days. My father and I aren't the best at golf, but play from time to time. Wanted a golf course to just go have fun and relax. Due to the virus and all, the course isn't in the best shape, but who cares if you are just to go out and have fun. Saw 2 alligators, one really huge and one baby! Everyone that played there were great and friendly. The owner was awesome! Had a blast just playing for a few hours!
!st 9 holes. this year here in Florida
I am a bogey shooter most of the time, but I have some good shots which draws me to the game. Right from the start everyone I met were pleasant, I pre regestered so I got there and got a cart and they sent me out 10 minutes early so the ladies didn't chase me. I've never played golf in Florida so I wasn't familiar with the sand and it took me 6 holes to start hitting the ball solid. My score wasn't impressive but I really enjoyed the experience, I can't wait to go back Tuesday and play in a mens outing with some guy's I met afterwards,
No one there to get any service or carts
This was a first for me.
Minor drizzle and no one is at the golf course
This is a huge waste of my time and money
Very disappointed with the golf course and golf now
The refund didn’t equal the fees
Not to mention the gas money spent driving to and from the course
This is a lesson not to pre pay for golf
Golf now doesn’t stand by its customers
I swear I booked 18 holes but when I got there, the pro in the shop asked me 9 or 18. I replied 18 but I checked my email and it said 9. Not knowing how small the course was I said, 9 is fine. We were done in less than an hour. Unless I get 18 holes for the price I paid there, I will never go there again.
Best Practice Course For New Players, Budget Friendly
This course is great for new players to the game. The value is excellent for this course. There is some challenging shots around water hazards that require fairly straight shots to stay out of water. Overall I have enjoyed this course and have played it several times, included by getting my oldest son playing with me. I would recommend anyone looking to get some practice in, and course conditions not top priority, to try this course out
Good warm up
Good course for iron work. Greens are small but require good putting. Tee boxes need work yet.
This was a fun course great to play if you haven't played in a while nice warm up. Staff was great they have stuff going on it was my first time but seems like a really nice place.
Not a real golf course
This Par 30 course is nothing more than weeds and crab grass between the tees and green. The fact that you can score some incredible deals in Citrus County for less than $20 per round should not even allow this course to register on your radar,
Challenging Little Course
I found this course challenging, especially for a par 30 executive course. The sand traps and greens were in good shape for this time of year and the staff members were VERY friendly. I had a great afternoon of golf with some really nice folks. If you're looking for a challenging course that offers friendly staff and nice folks check this little gem out. You won't regret it!!
Course was in good shape considering amount of rain the area has receivied lately. Fairways were in very good shape. Greens were about average for courses in the area. Will probably be very good after fall seeding. The course is a very challeging course requiring accuracy. The staff is incredibly friendly and the local gofers are friendly and fun to be around.
