Crosswinds Golf Club - Jones/Ouimet

Excellent experience even in rain. Played Jones and Zaharias nines with rain on last few holes. Challenging greens for sure but well maintained course. $80 with cart is great value.

I tell people all the time when I am out of state or someone tells me they haven't played the course They need to Play It Its One Of The Best In The State.

Playing Crosswinds is always enjoyable, each of the 3 nine hole tracks have their own challenges. Course was in great shape and greens rolled true.

Having to wait 10 minutes or so to hit every shot almost all round led to a 5+ hour round. Rangers do nothing to help and the guy who started us was just unfriendly. Course itself is decent but with 27 holes you would think they would be able to figure out a way to have a better pace. By the last few holes didn’t even want to play anymore.

I really enjoyed Crosswinds. The course is challenging both off the tee and with protected greens. If you keep the ball in play, the holes are gettable. If you go astray, you are deservedly punished. There are many risk-reward holes where you can decide between iron and driver off the tee. Greens were firm and fast. Pace of play was the only negative, but it wasn't atypical of any public course on a summer weekend. We had planned to eat lunch in the clubhouse but it was dead and just not that inviting. Fortunately, downtown Plymouth is a short drive and has lots to offer. Whether you are a local looking to play something a little nicer than your normal course or visiting from out of town, I can't imagine someone being disappointed with a round at Crosswinds.

The course overall s in great shape but unfortunately it is one of the most unforgiving courses you can play. Unless you keep your ball in play all the time there is very little chance you will find any ball that gores off the fairway, and there are a lot of instances due to slopes , etc. that you cant control the roll. The amount of brush, debris, etc. off the fairways makes it virtually impossible to get the ball back in play adequately. The course should complete a serious cleanup of the sides of the fairways to make it more realistic for the golfers.

Course is in excellent shape and it’s a great layout. The starter needs to take a chill pill though. He was practically telling us we couldn’t stop on the turn to get food saying, “hurry up guys eat on the fly, gotta be quick.” Then we get to the 10th tee only to wait 5 minutes for the group in front of us

Crats are older and some have sand bottles some do not but sand in the bottles maybe because the younger generation does use them but we have no control over what they do.

This course is a great course and always has been.
