About
Golf architect Arthur Hills designed the Legendary Run, an affordable facility that offers country club-caliber golf in spic-and-span surroundings and with what management calls "the friendliest service in the world." Scottish links golf courses inspired the front nine of the golf course, which sits on 200 acres of land and features six lakes, and holes are named accordingly: Troon, St. Andrews and Turnberry, for some examples. It's a different story on the back nine, which weaves through woods and was influenced by holes closer to home, such as those found at Augusta, Winged Foot and Shinnecock.
Book two weeks in advance to ensure you get on for a round on the Legendary Run golf course, and leave your metal spikes at home - there's no reason to worry, as, conditions permitting, you can take your golf cart off the path if necessary. A far cry from Cincinnati's recreational golf courses, this one requires a collared shirt (mock, if you must) and non-denim pants (shorts work, too). The pro shop will dress you if need be.
A bonus for eco-thinking golfers: The Legendary Run counts itself among the members of the Audubon Sanctuary Program and enforces respect of the natural habitat.

Good value for the money.
The front and back are two entirely different courses. The front is more playable. Nice, fast greens. The place is well maintained. The drink tickets for a beer in the clubhouse after the round was a very nice touch. I'll be back.
Challenging course for all levels of golfers
Challenging golf course with elevated greens. Our foursome enjoyed the variety of holes, different shots required to reach the greens, and the fairness of terrain. Several tee options should please all levels of golfers. Friendly staff, warm-up range, and club facilities added to our fun day.

game play was set at a good pace, condition of the course was overall good but the rough could have been better maintained for the few of us that dont hit the fairway every shot

Great layout and course condition. It is challenging and a fun course to play. The staff are friendly. Played twice an finished both within 4 and 1/2 hours. Great value too.
solid front 9, real good back 9
Course was in very good shape, unfortunately for me the greens had just been aerated a week before. No aeration icon on tee time listing. Front 9 is linksey with no privacy(homes all around) and is kind of bland. Back nine is much better- more scenic, more privacy, better hole designs. Greens looked to be fairly undulating, but were super slow with little break due to aeration.
Would like to play again when greens are normal. Each hole is named after a famous course but is NOT a replica. Love the extra 19th hole par 3 over water to settle bets.
