About
Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club offers two championship courses, the North and the South. Both courses sprawl across a verdant landscape covered with mature oaks, lakes, and ponds. The terrain is unusually hilly for Florida. Like the South Course, the North Course is undulating with a lot of movement but it has even greater elevation changes than the South, which provides scenic views of the surrounding community. On a clear day, golfers can see at least five miles to the northeast from the second tee. The North has a more modern layout that plays a little bit longer. Although the golf courses are nestled amongst rolling hills, Lake Jovita is situated just 30 minutes north of Tampa. The unique hilliness of the courses and their convenient location have made them some of Florida's must-play courses.

Great fun.
Love this place. Greens are big, fast, and tricky. Well maintained, bunkers included. A little off the beaten path but well worth the effort.
Stay Away
No carts available for our tee time so we had to wait past our tee time. And we did not finish because the course was way overbooked! Slow slow slow play!

Excellent Course
Course was in great shape and well maintained. Somewhat challenging, but a fun course. Very busy at start but Starter did a good job in keeping everyone moving along.
Both courses at Lake Jovita are great
Had a terrible foursome in front of us with 2.5 open holes. Course in nice shape. Best courses close to Dade City.
Great Course!
This was my first time at Lake Jovita and I very much enjoyed the round. Although I had not played it before, there were only a couple of holes where I was puzzled as to where to go off of the tee. It was a challenging but fair course and worth the price. My surprise for the day was the friendliness of the staff both in the pro shop and the starter. Very personable! Will definitely be going to this course frequently on my return visits.
North Course
This was by far the best course I’ve played this year. The conditions were PERFECT. Fairways and greens were in spectacular shape. I’d definitely would recommend the North course over the South!!

Great shape, starter a real positive today, always a treat to play this course, fairways generous. Nice greens. Wish they had some ball washers
A NEW FAVOURITE
Great variety with big elevation changes for Florida. Greens were huge with lots of big breaks but true.The only negative was that the Bunkers had not dried out after a big rain several days ago and staff had not been able to fix the washouts although they were working on restoring som that were drying out. Had a great day and looking forward to going back.
