About
Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club offers two championship courses, the North and the South. Both courses sprawl across a verdant landscape covered with mature oaks, lakes, and ponds. The terrain is unusually hilly for Florida. Like the South Course, the North Course is undulating with a lot of movement but it has even greater elevation changes than the South, which provides scenic views of the surrounding community. On a clear day, golfers can see at least five miles to the northeast from the second tee. The North has a more modern layout that plays a little bit longer. Although the golf courses are nestled amongst rolling hills, Lake Jovita is situated just 30 minutes north of Tampa. The unique hilliness of the courses and their convenient location have made them some of Florida's must-play courses.

Great course and friendly staff
Enjoyed playing this course. It played true and was fair but nice mix of challenge and opportunity.

Great afternoon value
Courses in great condition and we were able to beat the sunset.
Great course
Course was in excellent shape and received great rate. Played in just under 4 hours and beat sunset. Snack bar was not open. Did get one pass by with cart girl so we stocked up as she was heading in.
Bang for your buck
I wish the Fees were less . would play here more often.

Glad to have a chance to bring such joy to my playing partner who hadn't played at Lake Jovita before. He had the best day of his life he said. Staff was joking with us so those 2 guys started us off with a jolt of fun. I've played both South and North layouts. South is more interesting and scenic.Greens were slower than I remembered. So not quite up to par. Pace of play was perfect for us. Thanks for a wonderful day. One moe thing. Can you drop price a bit?
Amazing Course!
It was our first time playing lake Jovita and I can say with confidence that it will not be our last. The conditions were fantastic, staff was friendly and the amenities were top notch. Can’t wait to go back and try the south course.
