The Golf Club of Jupiter

About
Founded in 1940, the Golf Club of Jupiter is one of the town's oldest golf clubs. It is a local favorite that is still a pretty well kept secret from the rest of the state. It is not the most challenging layout that low handicappers will ever encounter, but it is a quick, playable round with excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. There are some water hazards that come into play, but nothing too demanding, and there are a few strategically placed bunkers throughout. The front nine is slightly shorter and less challenging than the back nine but overall, beginners would not feel overwhelmed. In addition to the course, the Golf Club of Jupiter also has a driving range where they use floating balls into a lake.

Nice course. Friendly staff. Good price. I enjoyed my round
Nice course to play for the average golfer. Course has a driving range where you hit balls in the water at floating flags. I'm very good at hitting balls in the water.
Par 5's are challenging.
Great course for the price always kept in good condition one of the only courses 'ive ever played with back to back par 3's but very fun course.
Professional
Great course, great people that work there. Course is well mantained.
First course I have played after moving to Florida
I don't have lots to compare with. I am not used to playing on a course, whose perimiters are homes.
Some of the greens needed attention. The price was reasonable.
The length of the coutse was just right for my 23 handicap.
The biggest problem I had was finding yardage markers. Next time I play here I will use my golf GPS.
I will return.
good local little course
Local tight driving course, biggest problem was a par 3 which was very near to a busy road which was a bit dangerous. Unfortunately had to finish early due to weather.
Great range, super friendly staff!
First time that I have ever played this course. Greens are well maintained. The fairways are narrow.
The staff are among the nicest that I have experienced on any course.
nice florida course
nice florida course with lots of challenges but in good shape
Not what it once was....
The course was once much nicer, but is in bad shape. I was very disappointed and will not return. Based on conditions, a round should cost 15 dollars. Beer cans were left in my cart from previous user, grass is mixed with lots of weeds. Bottom line...my puts would bounce due to the conditions of the greens.
better course nearby for same money
This course is average at best, needs some attention. There are better courses nearby for the same money. I do not plan on playing at again
Enjoyable and sometimes challenging
Great variety of holes and distances. Some greens need work.
tight
Tight short some holes very unfair. Not in very good shape. Not worth the price paid. Staff was friendly. Very laid back no 7rangers no beverage cart. No GPS or pin sheet provided. Yardage poorly marked.
Three hours I will never get back
So many issues at this course I don't know where to begin. As first off having to wait for carts to be brought out and gassed. Cart paths that were more suitable for an off road vehicle. Fairways with crabgrass growing through and almost every green had some sort of damage. Even at $28 I felt ripped off and when I mentioned this to the staff all I got was a shrug.
All these issues along with a layout that makes no sense made for a poor experience, so unless major changes are made I will not be back.
Good experience, friendly staff
Tight fairways, a lot of residences, some well placed bunkers, and water hazards, challenging course for a hacker like me. and on top of that I got a great deal from golfnow.com and you can't beat that with a stick!!!!!!
Nothing fancy. Good value
Fairways were in good shape, Greens on the front 9 had just been aerated and sanded. They were awful. Back nine had not been, so they were better but still not great. Cart paths were bad also. Got a great deal on Golfnow, so it was still a great value.
It is an OK course. Good variety. Has potential to be above average.
The front 9 greens were just aerated and sanded. I asked the attendant when I noticed the practice green aerated and we understood him to say, only that green was aerated. I think the greens are going to need additional attention regardless. It is an older course that is in decent condition, especially for a well used public course. For $25 or less it is an OK deal-not bad or really good...
Condo golf
This course is good for just getting out and playing a round. The biggest challenge is the fact that its condo golf (read: narrow fairways). It typically crowds up on weekends so plan on getting an early tee time if you don't want to wait or feel pushed. But if you do, be prepared to have the added challenge of playing around maintenance staff. I actually had to wait on a guy to finish mowing the green before making my approach shot. Still, better than waiting on octogenarians in front of you.
Good value for the money
No distance markers, but the course was maintained and challenging. Great restaurant and bar.
Martin County Red/White Course
Very nice course. Staff was super friendly. Course is close to water with a nice breeze, keeping it cooler..
Golf Club of Jupiter
Very nice course to play. It is in good shape. Only thing we don't like about it is the rubber mats for the driving range, and you hit into the water. Hard to judge distance.
