About
Surrounded by dense woodlands, Clover Valley Golf Club has a secluded parkland setting that also allows for some links-style holes. The course is relatively young but it has a much older feel to it. The versatile layout has an interesting mix of holes that appeals to a variety of different tastes and abilities. There are also four sets of tees that make it even more accommodating to a range of skill levels. The layout features gently rolling fairways that are lined with trees. They are rather generously sized though, which makes them more player-friendly. The medium-sized greens are also approachable with only slight undulations. There are several lakes as well as a creek that come into play on several holes. In addition to the golf course, Clover Valley also offers extensive practice facilities including a driving range with target greens, a large putting green, and a chipping area with greenside bunkers.

Might not be back
I loved this course until this time. They should have not let anyone play this day. Extremely wet and cart paths, most places, where small ponds and huge potholes. Some of the greens where spotted with yellow spots. They need to do some work on the course.

Great Course
This course is one of my favorites I’ve played around Columbus. Good amount of elevation, the best greens I’ve played in a while, and a unique layout that can be difficult if you get off the fairway. In really good condition for April. Better than a lot of $70 course I’ve played

Pre-growing season
Warm mid-March day drew us here. Course was open with carts, but hadn't officially started concessions yet. We were treated nice. Par 5's are really challenging usually need some strategy. When greens speed up, try to stay below the pin. Fun day!

Challenging and well kept layout!! Good value as well.
This is one of my go to courses in the area. Over the years, I have found the conditions to be fantastic, Recently, Ive noticed a few of the bunkers have needed attention and there have been a couple rougher spots than in years past, however I would characterize this as the exception rather than the rule. This course is usually in phenomenal shape. Beware of the layout, it is very challenging and there are no gimmes here. Although there are only one or two truly brutal holes, just about every hole has the potential to be a round wrecker if not played with due diligence. My advice is to arrive early, and take advantage of the well appointed practice area! Clubhouse is also very nice, with a banquet area available and decent food options. Drinks are poured generously, and there are some good liquor options available at the 19th hole,. At under $35 on weekdays, and under $50 on weekends, this course represents a very good value in the area IMO. I look forward to getting back out there when the weather breaks! Cheers!
Favorite Course
My go to course. Always welcoming and always willing to accommodate. Modest offerings at counter , but all good.
Not a great value
Just catching up on my reviews. I played this course once last summer. I used to play it quite frequently. The course was not in very good condition, especially the tees and greens. Several greens had dead spots. Many of the tees have problems later in the season. They need to clear out some trees to bet better sunlight and air flow.
Staff was cordial but not near as friendly as when the course was operated by the previous owners.
The course layout is challenging and, when it top condition, is a good test of golf. Will try to play it again in the spring and see if it has improved.
Fix the tee boxes and for god sakes maintain the sand traps

Boomer Central
The Good: Really great layout & property. Friendly staff
The Bad: As other reviews have said, course is in rough shape. Multiple greens automatic two putts because unplayable. Others with large ground under repair issues. If they put some money into the course (clubhouse/range/green issues) this would be an absolute gem.
The Ugly: Maybe 30 cars in the parking lot. Didn’t see holes 13-18 because the first three holes took an hour & 7 mins. 4-5 groups of boomers moving slowly, grinding out every three footer, and playing from incorrect tee boxes. We just drove back to our cars.

Fall golf
Golf this time of year depends on the weather and when the greens were punched and these greens were 2 weeks from the punch but had not recovered very well and the fringe and rough had not been mowed. I played there earlier in the year and the course was in great shape except for the bunkers.

Tough greens!
I was overmatched on the greens. They were very slow as it was extremely humid. I liked the challenges the course gives with layup or go-for-it choices
