Crane's Bend at Orange Lake Resort
About
Crane's Bend is one of the four golf courses at Orange Lake Resort & Country Club in Kissimmee. The comprehensive club offers two 18-hole championship courses and two nine-hole courses, one of each is designed by Arnold Palmer. Crane's Bend, like the Reserve Course, is technically one of the first courses at the club though it could be considered one of the newer courses. This nine-hole layout was originally designed in 1982 but underwent a complete renovation in 2003. The name of each hole is a different species of bird, a tribute to the abundance of wildlife that can be seen throughout the course. The golf course wraps around the resort's scenic fountain lake. It is challenging but plays fast, making it perfect for a quick round.

Played 9 holes, excellent experience
Links little slows really a challenge every putt, played twice and I'll comeback soonly
Easy enough for a beginner with some challenges for an advanced player
This is a 9 hole course. Nice course for beginners. There are a couple holes that do present a challenge. The condition is very good and the staff friendly. I took our daughter and son-in-law there because they are beginners.
Eighth hole is like TPC Sawgrass Seventeenth hole.
Nice par three plus nine hole golf course that tunes your short irons.
Executive Course - Very Short
The course was in very good condition. There were 6 very short par 3"s and 3 typical par 4's. The greens were in very good condition and the most challenging aspect of the round.
Arrogant and dismissive staff
Course itself was ok, nothing special but it was cheap as a last minute deal on golfnow.com. The guy in the clubhouse was what ruined if for me.
The golf clubs own website advertised club rental at a certain price which included a sleeve of balls. Turned out the price was 50% more expensive and did not included any balls. When I queried this Scott informed me "that's long out of date. I really don't know what they still have that up there".
Hate to break it to you Scott bit it's not "they"...... It's your own company !!!!! No point in passing if off as some third party.
Then you get a lovely set of irons including Cobras, Taylormade and Nike and just so nobody feels left out they include mostly steel shafts with a few graphite thrown in. Just to add to the calamity you get mostly regular shafts with 2 stiff ones included ?????
Thanks Scott you ruined an otherwise ok round of golf and I Wong even mention the vacation kids out playing on one of the fairways.
My advice folks, pAy just a few more more dollars and play a proper course where the customer is King. Celebration, Grand Pines or a Shingle creek are miles ahead both in terms of the courses themselves and also the customer service.
Good Price for resort golf
Nice small Par 30 course. Well taken car of. Nice course to teach someone the basics
A good 9 hole course in Kissimmee
Do understand that a LOT of golfers here are playing for the first time or real novices. So, you have to bear with them. Having said that, greens were reasonably maintained. The course has 3-Par 4s. None of the holes I thought was challenging (unless you make mistakes). Easy play for less than 11/2 hours and back before anyone starts looking out for u!.
Great value
Course was in good shape. Great value for the money. If we had more time we would have played the next day as well.
Oustanding conditions from tee box to green
the recently reseeded fairways were great to play off; the greens were the best I have played on in the area.
Awesome
WOW, that should explain it all. greens were in great shape and the fairways are like hitting it from the mat.
