Crane's Bend at Orange Lake Resort

Course plays quickly and the greens are phenomenal. Not too fast but fast enough to hold a line. Soft enough to bite and play a true shot. Pin placements were fun if you like a challenge. The scenery was enjoyable as well but definitely need to play from the tips to use multiple clubs. All around awesome course for the money, especially if you book thru golfnow!!! I will definitely play again when I return.

The course isn't a bad deal for the price point, but it's defiantly more of a resort golf then anything else. The three par courses are just not long enough fair ways to really get you into the game. It's more of just a teaser. However , for the price point of $9.00 for 9 holes you can't beat it. We will be back.

It had good challenging holes mostly par 3's and a couple of par 4's. It's in a beautiful setting and an easy pace but a few shots over water to keep you on your toes.

With water on 5 of the 9 holes, bring your A game.
Enjoyable and challenging with the opportunity to use all the clubs in your bag. I enjoyed the Island green.

It was in poor condition.....very dry and bare spots on tee box and greens.
Other than the conditions.........it is a nice little par 3

Course was in very good shape, greens fast and true.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our phone took us to the wrong location and when we finally got to the course we missed our tee time. The staff rescheduled us and got us write into the next slot. Overall this course and services were great.

Short and fair for beginners, and a relaxing getaway for Seniors

I really like this course. Something for everyone. Some short holes to start and a couple of moderate holes allowing for the use the longer clubs. A bit of water and some sand also bring the challenge level up... but not overwhelmingly so. Plays reasonably quickly and I've been paired with some friendly folks when the opportunity has arisen.

I have played all the Orange Lake courses many times. The courses are always in great shape but I have recently noticed a big downturn in the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Very dissapointing.

I do not recomend it for people that live in the area, it is very good maintain, but is for the gues at the resort.

First I was going to play with my son and his girlfriend, and as soon we got there this guy came took my clubs and put them in another guy's cart, no questions no nothing.

Then we got to the first hole and there was the 7 yes 7 people group in front of us, 15 minutes waiting and then 5 or more in each hole.

At first you come across a couple of really short 100 yard par 3's. Since I have not played a Executive Course in the pass I was worried that this course would be nothing but a shot iron work out. Then the par 4's came to play, all around 350 yards. Also the par 3's became more challenging as the round continued. I will return next week with my wife, she will love it, the surroundings are beautiful and the course really clean with nice kept fairways and perfect greens. The price was hard to beat, it took our threesome about 1:40 minutes to complete, we did not have to wait at any holes. Very Nice Clubhouse and staff was right there to help with clubs and carts. Perfect start to another beautiful day in Florida.

Very nice course along side water and between condos, course was in great shape, would definitively revisit! Got my first one in one on the third hole! Some chalenging hole with water right after the tee box and another hole with water around the green.

Cranes Bend is a good time to tune your iron play. It could use some extra tlc on overall upkeep, but it is quick and has a few GOOD holes..It was better when it was the original LAKES course years ago.

Too many condos, fairways are narrow but in good shape. Nice greens, although small. Staff are not friendly in the least.

Good test for a warm up round on a larger course.

Small greens make approaches very precise.

This is a pretty nice 9-hold riding course. It's more than a par-3 course, as you may even use a wood a couple of times! The course is well kept, and is a pretty nice little nature course. you can get on and off really quick out here and its prefect for someone on a time crunch!

A few long holes one signature island hole. Very narrow fairways on a couple of holes. Condos take a bearing on number 9
