Conveniently located less than 20 minutes from Walt Disney World, Kissimmee Golf Club provides a pleasant escape for tourists looking for an affordable round of golf. Although it is situated near several tourist attractions, the golf course is also a favorite among local golfers. The course dates back to the early 1940's, but 18 holes were officially established in 1962 and since then, the tees and greens have been updated to provide better putting surfaces and more challenges. In addition to the golf course, Kissimmee Golf Club offers practice facilities for golfers to use, including one of the largest grass driving ranges in the country.

You can't beat the price
This is a nice little course off the beaten path in central Florida; not too hard to find. Don't expect a big fancy club house, it's not that kind of course. Decent conditions, offers a good challenge, and in pretty good shape. Paired up with a Father and two son's from Chicago and they made it really fun. I was able to play for $4 after I used my reward, however, you don't need to book time, most likely you could just walk on and get to play.
Horrible greens and course
First and last time going to this course. Paid thru golfnow and neither them nor the course mentioned that the greens were airrated. Played one hole the greens were unputtable. Will not be going back here ruined a day of my vacation.
Good course
They are working in the greens .. Overall good
Great find
Played Metro West earlier this week on a recommendation- was very let down by the condition and maintenance of the course. Decided to save $ and play here. Glad I did. Great condition and a lovely course.
Golf with the aroma of jet fuel!
Only issue with this round was the standing water from heavy rain the day previous, so it was cart path only. Water not withstanding, the fairways were in good condition and the greens rolled very true. Prehaps the course overall could do with some TLC but it's well worth the money. I play here whenever I visit central Florida because I enjoy the tighter more thoughtful game needed at Kissimmee.
good course for the price
I thought having the airport right next to course would be a distraction, but ended up enjoyable to watch take offs and landings, The greens were slow, but putted true. The course seems good for your average golfer, but would not recommend for scratch golfers.
Was and could be better!
Have been playing this course for over 20 years while on vacation in Orlando. Enjoyed playing it in past because of friendliness of staff, decent course conditions, very fair price and fun to play. Seems lately course conditions have suffered. Would be nice if they could improve on the conditions since I would like to continue to play when I visit.
Orlando
We play this course every time we come to Orlando. The fairways could have been in better shape but overall we had a good time. I wish I could say that about my game. First time playing this year.
First timer
It was our first time at this course. My husband and I travel a lot and try and play twice a week wherever we are. We have played from Key West to Cape Cod. We will definitely be back. We liked the greens and fairways. It was a little challenging but not to bad for us who just like to have a good day. We have only played for three years, but enjoy every minute of our game. We met the management group and they were great. Hi to

Still a Great Course
My father and I found this course in 2005, after we were kind of drained from paying upwards of $80+ for condo-style golf. We found this place for roughly $30 per round and it was fantastic.
What there used to be of the pro-shop and facility is definitely not anymore. There was no ranger, and there was no starter. The pro shop used to have all sorts of goodies you could buy (I really like getting a logo ball from each course I play, for example), but this had diminished in quality as well.
I ended up paying $40 for the two of us to golf with a cart, on a 93 degree afternoon on vacation in Kissimmee - I couldn't exactly complain about anything.
The course had a lot of standing water in the rough near the airport - I assume the runways push water down and away from them. If you kept it in the fairway though, it was not an issue. The fairways were cut pretty well, and the greens were in great shape compared to some of the others we played.
The overall feel of the course had definitely changed, however. There were two guys who jumped out in front of us on the practice green in sleeveless shirts and running shorts - thankfully they let us play through. The on course bathrooms had no signs - but had the words MEN and WOMEN carved into them by what looked like an elementary school student. The cart paths had fallen apart in a few places with no effort to repair them. The carts I don't believe have been updated in nearly 6 years.
I wonder if the course is undergoing a new management change, or maybe they really have just let it go...
In any case, the course itself was in good shape, the one employee in the pro shop was friendly (but not knowledgeable), and the other patrons let us play through them. I had a good time here, I just think that it could be in potentially MUCH better shape than it is currently.
Not as advertised
Rating observed on Golfnow did not match this course
nice
course was cart path only, very wet after a couple days of rain, but I have played the course before and found it challenging
Conditions at Kissimmee Golf Course
This course is in desperate need of repair. It is over watered and has been neglected. The tee boxes are not level, there is no sand in the bunkers. Several of the drive over bridges are a safety hazard with the wooden planks peeling up. You can tell easily that there is no up keep or any type of maintenance going on. Seeing this course recently from what it was a few years ago is appalling. Management needs to start heading in the right direction. The local residents are the only thing keeping this place alive. Overbooking seems to be a major problem also. Someone with business experience needs to step in and save this place.
Back again
Not the prettiest course around but well worth playing. Feels like a proper golf course with some interesting holes needing thought from the tee. Great value.
We enjoyed the course
This was the 2nd time we played the course and the people we golfed with, were enjoyable to play with. The greens are in very good condition. It's a bit noisy, because of the airport, but it's also fun to see the aircraft take off and land. Actually, the noise isn't a problem. It's a somewhat challenging course and fun to play. We'll be back, next year, when we return.
Great reception
I purchased a hot deal through Golfnow but goofed and showed up an hour late for my tee time. Since I hadn't actually paid anything to the course they could have said too bad, but they didn't hesitate to put me out at the next available time.
The greens were in good shape and I had a very enjoyable round.
Great course for the money!
Great for the money. I played on a Sunday so it would pace was a little slow. But the greens were green in the fairways were reachable. Teebox's were great.
But by far this was a great place for the buck!!. Coming back tomorrow.
It Was Cheap
There is a reason it's cheap! Poor layout and if low flying planes taking off or landing every few minutes put you off your game then go elsewhere! Greens were pretty good but fairways pretty hard and the grass isn't the best. The layout is pretty chaotic and with some tee shots you find that there are real possibilities of errant shots going over adjacent greens or fairways. There are better courses around at a similar price point.
Thank you for your feedback,. We are constantly working on the course to make improvements. We hope you come back and visit us soon.
