The Preserve Golf Club

The course is in very bad condition. I know they’re trying to repair it, but it looks to me as if one thing gets done to Facebook I really like this course. I wish it was better. I’m hoping that they will get to finding ways to get the weeds out of the greens

First time I played this course in about a year. It has really gone downhill since then. Greens were rough, including two temporary greens. Even the tee boxes were bad. On a number of occasions I found myself looking for a level spot to tee up with a number of holes in them. Fairways were also very dry with lots of areas with no grass. It appears it has been totally neglected. To bad, this was a nice course with a nice layout.

I got introduced to The Preserve at Tara a year ago.Although the course layout was good,the condition wasn’t. It’s all changing now that a new superintendant has taken over. The conditions are improving every day even with the lack of rain. All courses are going to struggle until the rains come. If you haven’t been on this course for a long while, I urge you to come back. By the time golf season starts in the Fall this is going to be one of the ones you put on your list! The forward tees make it playable for all handicaps, the back two tees make it as challenging as I’ve experienced! I’m a golfer with 65 years experience who has played in Amateur competition in PA, Maryland, North and South Carolina and Florida. I love this game and would never do anything to hurt it! Great staff but they need to put some money into the course maintenance. Dried out fairways, dirt on greens and no yardage markers on fairways

All 18 greens were in horrible condition—large sand patches you have to putt through. The layout is nice but the conditions are so bad.

Never Play Here. The worse upkeep ever or should I say “No upkeep” the greens were same and gofers holes! The only thing that was cut was half the fairways. Again we will never be back and you should never book here! Thanks for nothing……GM-TIM

I am fighting with the course manager Tim to get a full refund! Please do not book a Tee time or play here! They are trying to sell the land to a developer so they are only cutting the fairway. It is the worse course I have ever played. What a joke!

First time playing there, traveled 30 miles all 4 of us. The staff was friendly in the club house (they told us the course was ****!) we got off 40 minutes early because no one was booked. They we found out why. There is No upkeep or any maintenance on the whole course. All the Tee boxes and Greens were left to die! And they were all dead! * no rakes in sand traps, no ball washer, no trash cans, no cart girl, I say the pace was a 5 because no one was booked in front or behind us. I would also give the course layout a 5, But everything and I mean everything else was “ LESS THAN ZERO” but they charged us full price! + $55 dollars. The owner should be ashamed ! The greens were dug up by animals and moles, almost no grass, had rag weed and bacteria, pits. But, But……..wait for it……They Had Brand New Black and Yellow checkered Flags on the Greens….Wow

What a joke give us back our Money!

Just don’t go or book here! We will never book here again! Now that I see I could of taken pictures I would of. I also see now after reading reviews that I should of read them first. I hope this helps everyone from booking here and having a terrible experience like us!

It should be a crime!

My golf partner and I have been playing the preserve for two years and we have found it deteriorate from the greens to the fairway getting worse and worse something needs to be done but I understand it’s hard to get that done

My tee time was at noon on a Sunday, upon arrival there were very few cars in the parking lot which was my first clue something was wrong. The golf cart worked well and had good pick up, since no one was playing on a beautiful day pace of play was outstanding. Most holes you couldn't identify the fairway from the rough. The greens had sand spots all over them, so it made it hard to put. At one point the sprinklers were on watering for hours an area that is out of bounds. There is potential for this course but it needs much work. Probably won't be back.
