The Preserve Golf Club

I paid $15 and I played a $15 course. The grass, greens, rough, and tee off spots are very poor. I would never pay over $20 for this course but for the same $15 price I would go again, nothing more.

The course needs some TLC, a couple of temp greens, that have greens that to me look ready to play behind them. Tee boxes and greens are pretty beat up. Greens very fast. Even with all of it's troubles, it still is worth the money and a great place to work out your swing, and your golf game. Water and sand on just about every hole.

For $20, great deal. The course layout is one of the best and very challenging from any tee box. The course has came along way and you can tell some one cares about it again. Greens are still virtually unputtable but better than they were. Running fast but bumpy. Holes 14 and 15 have temporary greens at the moment that are very unputtable. The fair ways are night and day difference then a few months prior. We had a friend cross the fairway about 20 yards behind my drive on 18, great day at Tara preserve. When this course is in playable condition will be one of the best public courses in the county!

About 6 weeks ago I wrote a review on The Preserve Golf Club at Tara. I mentioned that under a new superintendent that this course is improving rapidly. For those who came back to see I'm Sure have been pleasantly surprised. I wont lie and say its exactly perfect but the fairways are in great shape and the greens are much improved. I said in my last review and will say again, by the time the golf season is in full swing September, its a must you add this course to your list. I play it twice a week and will continue.

Was a lot of fun pace of play was great lots of nature nice peaceful neighborhood.. challenging with the brush and not being able to see a couple greens and water everywhere but 20$ I’ll run it back forsure

Course is in okay shape. Some tees a bit rough and 2 or three temporary greens. Overall in better shape than some courses I've played in Tampa. Great value!

Played late afternoon. Place was dead. Guy in the pro shop was super friendly, played in under 3 hours and there was more grass growing than I expected with the lack of rain. For less than 20 bucks, it was worth it.

The improvements are recognizable both on the fairways and greens. Two new greens growing in, there are other greens that are 100% better than 6 months ago. Great layout and an outstanding value for 18.00.

They are selling the land to developers so they are doing NO Maintenance on this course! Do book here, just move on

First time playing Tara in a few weeks, happy to see that the staff is making progress to fix greens and tee boxes. Work still needs to be done, but again, they’re clearly working on it!

Never book here again! The worse maintained course and the GM Tim is a joke!

They are not maintaining the course because they are trying to sell the course to developers. So F the golfers

I must admit the fairways are getting better every week, but the green still need a lot of work however there are two or three of the greens which they are working on. Hopefully they will all be worked on soon. It’s pretty hard to play and put on some of the greens, sometimes the temporary greens put better than the regular greens.

For the price I couldn't complain but the greens and tee boxes need a lot of work, pro shop guy said they are working on them and they are but needing lots of love still.

I can see where this course in its prime would be an awesome course.played it for 16$ through golf now. Perfect place to practice your drive cause you have to be spot on..

Tough course. Back 9 alot better. Layout awesome, conditions not so good but I here uts getting better
