Greens were horrible. Tee boxes are bad. Fairways are marginal.

Very good layout. Need to make shots, not distance. Layout allows for a average golfer to play well if you hit the shot.

The condition was very bad. Greens on some holes unplayable to put.

This course could be a true gem if it was in even adequate condition. Tee boxes a mess.

Overall for the money , I would play it again.but could use some care.

The course is not even the worth the fee we paid ($35)! The condition of this course is just not acceptable. The Tee boxes were worse than bad and the green not quiet better. One green don't even had a flag stick (see picture). It's embarrassing, to leave a golf course in such a crappy condition.

The only positive point is the Clubhouse, it is very nice and the Restaurant too.

Nevertheless, I do not recommend this course at all! It's not worth to get there!

I found this course very interesting. It was beautiful in some places, terribly bad in some areas, but I liked the course. It was difficult as a 1st timer but after playing it I wanted to start over and try it again. I struggled to rate the price to quality after playing a number of courses. I think this course has the most potential if they can get the rough areas refreshed.

We played this occasionally over the last few years, but each year go back in hopes that it couldn’t get worse. But, it has, the greens are AWFUL but the rest of the course has remained constant (3 stars) over all that time. It’s a shame to waste what is otherwise an interesting layout.

A 5 hour round playing on a cow pasture

I should hv known considering the condition of the practice green

The tee boxes haven’t been touched for years

The greens were atrocious

Why was it packed?

Because it was the cheapest green fees in both counties

It’s been 2 years since I played there and will probably be 2 years before I return

The have let the course go. Terrible tee boxes, fairways, and greens. Do not waste your money.

Several tees had little to no grass, fairways were sparse in areas, and many greens had ground under repair with heavy sand. One green had not been cut, was like putting on fairway. Hole 16 had no flag. Terrible conditions, not worth $50.

Course was in very bad shape. Made a last min decision to play there for $50 and I’ll never do it again. Tee box and putting greens were pretty much unplayable almost at every hole. There seems to be a huge amount of wild life that likes this course because there was holes around the putting greens and dirt mounds all over the greens. Staff was nice but honestly I feel like if you’re gonna open your course to the public you should at least do your rounds to ensure your course is playable so people aren’t wasting their money on a bad course.

Course is in terrible shape, it look like a new subdivision will be built soon

The Preserve at Tara left vey much to be desired. The fairways and greens had next to no grass, the tee blocks were in terrible shape. It looks like no one is maintaining the course and my guess is that it'll be housing development sooner than later. The only plus was that the cost of the round was reasonable but that was probably due to the condition of the facility.

Course was in awful condition. We don’t know what happened to it. Wasn’t quite like that last year. Must have grounds employees problems or financial problems. Not worth any amount of money!

I’ve played here in the past. The course has always been, in my opinion, a well designed and laid out track. Although it was never in great condition, the layout and price point, made it a worthwhile course to play. However, the owners at this point have let it go completely. Borders on the unplayable, with chunks taken out of the greens, tee boxes with nothing but sand and uneven surfaces, bare fairways.

Save your money and aggravation level. Look for another venue
