The Preserve Golf Club

I was hoping for better given the recent purchase and planned improvements. While the course is playable, it’s obvious more needs to be done. The greens are rough with bare spots and damage, the fairways are thin and the tee boxes are like a child’s sand box. The course design is excellent. Too bad conditions diminish the experience.

With $70-125 prices in the area, this one is a great value at $35-$60

Greens were good. Some needing some work. Fairways dry, but in fair condition. Great round. Keep working on bringing this course up to the level it should be.

Why would new owners buy a course and do nothing to improve it?? No grass on tee boxes or around some greens. Weeds growing on greens. Fire ants everywhere on course. Never seen so many. Had to be careful on every shot and move the ball. Very dissatisfied!!

Course is in good condition with one caveat: the tee boxes need attention.

Played early on a Friday morning in approx 4 hours. Fairways and greens have been over seeded. Tee boxes and sand traps air in poor condition. Recent rain may have contributed to hard muddy traps. Greens were a little slow but ok. This is an average public course for the Bradenton area that could use some more maintenance. Layout is challenging with lots of water.

Went to play on Sunday. We had a 2:30 tee time. Unfortunately my partner forgot socks and we went to the pro shop, they had none. The pro inside told us we had plenty of time to go get some and come back. When we do get back, 4 other groups went ahead of us so we decided to go off the back 9. Tee boxes are in pretty horrific condition, greens are patchy. Was in much better shape last time I played. Do not recommend even for the price.
