About
Located just minutes from the beach, the conveniently situated Clearwater Country Club sprawls across a coastal landscape of Spanish moss-draped trees and towering, mature oaks. Stevenson Creek meanders through the golf course, coming into play on six holes. Built in 1920, the layout has a traditional design that is challenging but fair. The course is tight but it plays long, especially on the par 5s. The rolling fairways are well manicured and the greens play at medium speed and are consistently well maintained. Clearwater C.C. actually has a reputation amongst locals for its superb conditions. It is also popular with visitors, snowbirds specifically, since the club offers the area's only seasonal and short-season membership with exclusive privileges. It is also one of the few clubs in the area that allows walking.

Decent course. Lots of local play
I wouldn’t make this my first choice in the area but it wasn’t a bad course. Pace of play was fairly slow. You’ll see a lot of fivesoms and sixsomes on the golf course. Many locals play here and pretty much own the course. Course conditions were mediocre. Sat outside after our round to have a beer only to have some young kid taking the seats out from underneath us because he wanted to go home early. They need to teach their staff manners
It’s a great layout but they obviously need to put some money into the course. This is another golf course in the area that doesn’t believe in putting rakes in the traps, instead they put it in the back of your cart. Needless to say a lot of traps have numerous foot prints through them
Pretty Public Course
Played 18 holes, challenging for a beginner but fun. Pace was quick and got a little backed up on the weekend. I would recommend and will go back to play again.

I played with my son, condition of the course is very well.

Challenging yet user friendly.
We play this course a couple of times each winter. We thought the greens were in great shape ! The fairways are a little tight but it’s a beautiful piece of property. Trust me…I saw a lot of it. Lol

needs more overseed as lots of dormant bermuda on mushy turf= tough lies. always a bit worn but you get what you pay for
good for the money
overall good course for the money. interesting layout, decent condition, not too busy in the afternnon. didn't play in the morning so don't know how busy it is.
