About
Located just minutes from the beach, the conveniently situated Clearwater Country Club sprawls across a coastal landscape of Spanish moss-draped trees and towering, mature oaks. Stevenson Creek meanders through the golf course, coming into play on six holes. Built in 1920, the layout has a traditional design that is challenging but fair. The course is tight but it plays long, especially on the par 5s. The rolling fairways are well manicured and the greens play at medium speed and are consistently well maintained. Clearwater C.C. actually has a reputation amongst locals for its superb conditions. It is also popular with visitors, snowbirds specifically, since the club offers the area's only seasonal and short-season membership with exclusive privileges. It is also one of the few clubs in the area that allows walking.

good for the money
overall good course for the money. interesting layout, decent condition, not too busy in the afternnon. didn't play in the morning so don't know how busy it is.
Hole Markings on Golf Course
Course was in beautiful condition. However, my only complaint is the holes are not marked well and it's often hard to find the next hole. More directional signs would be appreciated.
The course was in great shape. I haven't played it in a few months, and they've definitely done a great job with the course maintenance! Very nice greens, fairways and tee boxes.

Course is very well maintained. The only complaint I have is there's not enough signs directing golfers from hole to hole, especially hole number 5, 6, 7. Don't play there real often so we got turned around several times and had problems finding the holes.
Fog day
Not sure if it was the fog but for such a short course I played poorly
We wouldn't play it again
Pro shop placed us behind 3 groups which had weekly bets. We stood around most of the round - barely making it in before dark. it got extremely cold waiting.
Also - layout of the course is odd, with cyclone fencing between close tees and greens.
