The Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club, centrally located on McMullen Booth Road a comparably short course, offering just 5,454 yards from the blue tees and a slope rating of 118. Most of the fairways are wide, making errant shots still playable. In essence, it is the ideal place to work on your golf game, to correct that nasty slice or learn to hit that oversized driver without fear of losing 100 balls. As a result, it is a favorite among novice golfers who want to be challenged but also have an enjoyable round.

We did not play this course. They were overbooked. 12 carts were lined up at first tee when we arrived.
Better than I remember
I used to play here all the time. I lived nearby about 10 years ago and played Chi Chi’s at least once a week. Since moving further south, I haven’t had the chance to play. The greens are much better than I remember them being. Great job Chi Chi Staff!
Short but sweet.
I played on a rare cool blustery day but the course was very nice though not long at all. In tough weather conditions with mist and rain, the greens held up very well and we're surprisingly fast but true. Can't wait to get back there on a sunny day.
Fantastic shape
Used to play chi chi's fairly regularly, this was the best shape I've ever seen the course in. Really outstanding, greens were fast and true, the fairways were great and the tee boxes for the most part were really good. The only complaint about the course is the pace of play. The course is short, there are a few holes less then 300 yards, so every golfer in the world thinks they can make the green, so they wait. Then of course every one in the foursome duffs into the woods because they try to crush the 300 yard drive. This backs everything up! This was not a one time occurrence on this course as it happens almost every time I've played the course. But for $20, the course is in fantastic shape and it sure did beat working.
Corse condition was much improved since last time I played. I would play again and will recommend this course to all my friends.
Excellent Value Golf
I've played here several times over the years, but my wife has played here only a couple of times. The course is in very good condition, and the staff is very friendly. The green fee was well-priced and the pace of play was excellent. All together, a splendid day. Highly recommend it.
Nice layout
First time playing the course. I was looking for something to do on a Sunday Afternoon, I was disappointed when I got there and saw the amenities. Although once you tee off on first hole it’s pretty nice. The greens were beat up by the many golfers that played that day. The course was overbooked and made it extremely unpleasant. We had 2 sometimes 3 foursomes on each tee box. I couldn’t complain for what I paid. It was well worth only getting in 15 holes. I would recommend playing there. Good bang for your buck
Great shorter course
Not a long course but brings to bare all the skills of the game. Numerous sand bunkers require accurate approach and chip shots. Greens are a bit small, present numerous slopes but putt true...so enjoyable. Almost all greens feature bunkers in front center, which encourages high lofting chip shots, and rewards backspin. Fairways vary from tight to wide open and several require irons or shorter woods to hit your landing target. A very good learning course.
Chi Chi's
Good course to play, some tight fairways, some are wide open. Not real long so you should be able to hit the greens in regulation.
Course was in good shape some repairs being made around greens & t boxes looks like will grow in nicely. consistent lies in fairway & playable in rough
Great Deal/Well Maintained
It was great to play Chi chi's again. Friendly staff and great course! Made us feel welcomed.
Chi Chi's
We have golfed this course, the last 2 Novembers, and have always found the Staff helpful & friendly. The course has a variety of challenges for the weekend, or more avid golfers.
Value plus
I've played this course before and I'll play it again. It's close and very convenient. They keep the course in fairly good shape and the staff is very good. This time of year is good because it's pre-snowbirds and the prices are great.

I always enjoy playing this course it is fun, condition of some greens are poor with repairs standing up and making it difficult to put but I still enjoyed it

Very nice surprise
What a nice course. Not very long. Very enjoyable to play staff is fantastic other players very laid-back. Nobody pushing you just had a great day .. side note you can tell the Chi chi is community oriented what a wonderful out reach for the community and kids
