Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club

This is a nice short course. It is fairly tight and it's main feature is that most greens are well protected with a lot of sand traps! Enjoy playing this challenging course.

The layout of the course the speed of play were all excellent

Found the greens were tough as most were domed with pin placement on top of the dome. As a result many balls were hit close to the pin but rolled down the other side or back to edge or even off the green. Very challenging..

When spending a good amount of money to play a round of golf, you expect golf etiquette from the other players, and staff. The players did fine. Staff, not so much! They over book tee times, the starter doesn’t leave his cage to get people put in tee off time orders, 12:06 tee time and we started at 12:22 after getting to the first tee at 11:55. 5 1/2 hour round. We are willing to buy water on a 85° day, but they don’t have a cart going around the course to do that. All four water coolers empty on the course. I called the pro shop from each water cooler that was empty to let them know so they could get them filled, did they, NO! When I called them at the third water station with no water, their response was “maintenance went home”, and I said, “So, your paying customers need water, in a cooler since you don’t have a cart going around.”

Sorry Chi Chi but I will not be back to play golf here.

The corse is in good shape. The greens were well kept. Good value for the money.

The few holes that we did get to play were great except for the wait times. Tee times were 3 minutes apart which caused backup as much as 3-4 foursomes waiting on each hole. We played 5 holes in 3 hours and called it quits. I think the course is a great course but with 3 minute tee times, I will not play there again nor can I recommend anyone else play there.

Fairways need work and trees that have grown for some time need to be addressed. A group of 8 asians that were in front of the group ahead of us held up play. Once we completed the front nine we just played the front again. This etiquette on a golf course should never be allowed. They were playing from tips and it was stated none went straight or beyond 200 yards.

We had booked a tee off time for 12:30 and didn't tee off until 1:10. Obviously course was over booked. Greens need a lot of work.

Played in 4.05 hours. Fairways good, sand traps not raked but normal for public course. Only complaint we had was old pin placements not smooth. Overall a great day.

Course was very nice. Staff was as friendly as could be and really seemed to appreciate my business. Paired up with a couple great guys. Biggest problem was slow play. We waited on all 18 holes. Took 4:35 to play 18 holes and this is a fairly short course. They definitely need a ranger to keep play moving along. Besides the slow play, course was in beautiful condition compared to most the Florida courses that we've played. Nice layout. Not a ton off houses on course.

Nice course. Not very long but challenging. Fairways and greens were in better shape than any other courses in the area. Really enjoyed the elevated fairways and greens. Paired up with some fun guys. Biggest issue was we didn't tee off til 45 minutes after tee time. We checked in 15 minutes ahead so we had an hour wait. Very unorganized. Starter did not follow tee times at all. Let people jump in line. Once we started, it was smooth sailing. Will definitely play there again.

While the course is shorter than most, the layout challenges you accuracy. The pace of the greens are generally fast but due to recent cold weather the course added sand. Overall an excellent place. It's nice to see the first tee organization.

My tee time was 11:54. Arrived at 11:30, counted 14 carts waiting at the first tee. Went to pay for 4 players and asked if we would be moved up for our tee time. Told "NO", just get in line. Told that they were 15 to 20 minutes behind. I told him that it was more than an hour before all those carts would be off and playing. Employee just shrugged his shoulders. I didn't pay and will never try to play this course again. Don't get a tee time at this course !
