Shell Point Golf Club

Well maintained course. Greens were in excellent shape.

Course provided good challenge for our mid handicap group.

No waiting throughout the round. All golfers in the group would like to return.

I've played Shell Point in the past and have found it to be one of my favorites in SW Florida. Very nice practice facilities, hospitable staff, several tee options, true and well maintained greens.

We have played the course already last year. But this time he was even better.

Especially the greens were outstanding.

The whole staff was very friendly and helpful.(Big plus for the ladies from the bar!!)

The course was in very good shape from tees to greens.

Hole 11 from the yellow tees and back is one where I say goodbye to my ball before teeing it up.

Greens were fast and firm on the course and in the practice area.

My GPS device does not know that the current #1 hole used to be the # 6 hole. Flag sticks have laser reflection devices on top of the pole. Pin position maps are on he carts and flag colors reflect the position.

A ranger was around several times during play.

Starter/Ranger attempted to speed up play off first tee! He told us to hit with the previous group in range. When we refused he insisted. Course rangers (and they have many) have no clue regarding quality play or course ediquett.

Excellent course and condition. Staff super friendly and helpful. Really good time, will go again

Beautiful new Clubhouse with simple park and play features! I pulled in, dropped off my clubs to the staff, paid and away I went. The course had excellent greens and pace of play was as slow or fast as you wanted. Challenging water/bunker holes with dogleg fun.

I will be back. Enjoyable, challenging course with a lot of water to avoid. Fairways are fairly tight and require good tee shots. The greens were a bit slower than normal Florida greens, but rolled true. Be aware this course does not have a liquor license and there is no beer/snack cart. I arrived an hour early (8am) to grab breakfast before my round and it was not ready yet.

Fun challenging course with a very good pace of play. Some fairways need to grow in a little but overall conditions including greens are very good.

Course was in good condition. Greens were quick, which I liked. Other twosome who we were going to play had some health issues, so they allowed us to play by ourselves. Overall, great course for the money.

Pace of play was slow , some fairways were burnt out. Otherwise, course is nice , a great place to see LOTS of wildlife and pelicans.

The new layout makes the course more enjoyable to play. The current conditions were excellent with good fairways and the greens were running very well. I hope to play again before heading north next week.

Great course, interesting holes....lots of water. Very helpful staff. A real pleasure.

I really enjoy this course! I remember when there were shells in the landscape! Great condition...even got some roll!
