Playing Thru
I played tye River/Dolphin as a single and when a caught up to a twosome onthe 6th hole ove River I wasasked to play thru. On the 3rd hole of Dolphin the threesome ahead of me suggested that I play the hole with them and the threesome ahead of them let me play through on the next hole. I finished the round in under three hours and thank the courteous players that allowede me to play thru.
Nice track need some TLC
Nice track with three distinctive nine’s, they need to spend some $$$ on the tee boxes and fairways. Greens were decent. Golf cart was on the about to retire side.
Pleasantn
Took 8 holes tp catch up to a twosome that askedd me to pass. Then 2 threesomes had meplay thru. Greens fine: fairways need work.
First time
Played on a recommendation from a customer of my wife's. Cost was great. Staff friendly. Fairways were good greens were much better. Played the lakes course for 9 only. Then went to the clubhouse for a beer. Comfortable to sit. We will play again and it may become our home course.
Rough back nine
The last time we played here we played the Dolphin and River course. Both were in good shape especially the greens. This time we played the River and Lakes. The River nine was still in very good shape. The Lakes nine not so much. The greens and tees were in rough shape due mainly to weeds. I hope the staff closes the Lakes section so this can be fixed. This time of year not that many people playing and the heat will help the weed killer work fast. I will call next time to see what courses they are sending us out on. With the conditions at the Lakes I wouldn’t play. The Lakes is a great layout just needs some work.
Stormy Day, Stormy Round
It's coastal Florida and rain can come upon you anytime of the day, and for us it did, just as we finished the 3rd hole of the Lakes. After waiting 40 minutes with others in the clubhouse we finished the round feeling good about our day.
All of the fairways were in need of TLC as bare spots were very apparent. Water comes into play quite a bit. Bunkers were just right until the rain. Greens were hard to read at times, but hit mostly medium to fast on the meter.
Stopped for lunch in the restaurant and were surprised at the options and the quality of our meals.
Overall, a pleasant day of golf with family, who look forward to a return match.
Summer time
The course was in better shape than the last time I played here. Fairways were okay, not great. Tee boxes were in good condition. Greens were in good shape just a little slow as grass was long. Then again longer grass should hold up better during the summer. Pace of play was better than average. This will be one of our summer courses. Friendly staff too.
Terrible. Don’t play not worth the money.
I never write reviews but this one was so bad I needed to. I never played this course before and expected the $48 Brevard resident off-season price to mean that this course was in good condition. I was wrong. Sandy fairways, patchy tee boxes, it looked like no one has taken care of it in years. Awful value.
Well run public course
People were great, Course was fine. Green were good , Fairways a little sparse any dry.
Greens were in great shape. Much the better than other courses we played in the area.
Fairways are dry, the same as the rest of the area courses.
Layout is good, some interesting holes.
Range balls are cheap, but bring single dollars bills to feed a ball machine.
We enjoyed the round and will play again and recommend.
Nice spot 4 a launch
Pace of play was excellent, 3hr 2some. Nice golf round, fairways in good condition, greens look good, little bumpy tho. Grass range area, beverage cart, country club feel, nice touch. GN.
18 holes as a single
Played the round in 3.5 hours du to foursome traffic in front of me with no room to play through. Greens in good shape; fairways hardpan.
