Lakes/River Golf Course Cocoa Beach Country Club

Very good value and a scenic course, especially the River Nine.

Slow play with no rangers. They purposely overbook. For this public course you pay premium prices for waiting on every hole.
With all that money and new greens they should have 2 rangers for a 27 hole course, while we're young!!

Kinda steep at $34 when you can get on some top courses in Orlando for under $40. Nothing wrong with course, was pretty wet. Pace was moderate but did not see any Rangers. Overall good course for the area, good food and not too tricked up.

The games was great, got held up on back nine, but that is expected. The staff is great to work with, the beverage cart was good also.

Had a great time. Pro shop and starter were very nice.

Greens were in great shape, tee boxes and fairways above average shape

Pro shop staff was very rude. Overall condition of the course has greatly improved over last year. It gets a lot of play so conditions were good taking that into consideration.

Staff was SUPER friendly and the course was AWESOME. First time playing this course and would DEFINITELY play it again. Played the River and Lake course and the views was phenomenal.

The courses were in excellent shape. The greens are nicer than any private courses in the area. The rivers views are outstanding.

The course is in pristine condition.
If you have not played here in a long time or this will be your first you will be pleasantly surprised by the lush fairways and true rolling greens.
There are 3 separate nines here allowing you for amazing views of the Indian River.
The courses can be very difficult from the back tees with the narrow fairways and the amount of water that comes into play. The up tees still provide a good challenge but bring the par 3's in close enough which gives you a good chance of going low for the day.
There is a good practice area and a nice club house awaits you after your round..
Watch for gators and other wildlife.

If you can stop staring at all the amazing wild life, birds, cranes, egrets, hawks, and even an alligator or two sunning themselves, you will enjoy this golf course!

The course is in pretty good shape. The greens are some of the best I've played on. Play was slowed for the front nine but the back nine was fast. It was Sunday afternoon and that is the time for families to play so I have no complaints.

This is a municipal course! However, very scenic with the front nine of the River course having beautiful views of the Banana River. The greens were in very good shape! The course, due to it's proximity to the ocean can be VERY windy. This is a very short course, just over 6100 from the tips.

Staff not at all friendly...more like "tolerating." Didn't seem to love their job very much.

They have the best green in Brevard and probably in central FL. They have been this good for at least 3 years. The course is wide open with water and sand your only hazards

River course is narrow and Lakes has water. Fun afternoon with good pace of play and nice breezes off the river.

It was Spring golf with the greens recently punched and the fairways not yet grown in. We were sent out on the Lake Course, which was way too flat and easy. Our turn was to the River Course which was much, much nicer. Did not get to play the Manatee Course, which is supposed to be more difficult. Skip the Lake and you'll have a better experience. Great staff and pro shop.
